Hello ALL,

Please can any one walk me through the PPR process i.e, after MR?

For instance what is the procedure for engaging DHL after receiving the PPR mail from AVO?

Can the passport delivery and pick-up service be accessed at any DHL point/centre in Lagos or is that particular service limited to specific DHL centres? Also assuming you're sending 2 passports, does it go in a single package or 2 respective parcels?

Also, what's the financial implication of engaging DHL for this particular passport delivery and pick-up service?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Dear All,

I am new on this platform and not too familiar with the terms and abbreviations used.

I applied for the Federal Skilled Worker class last year and received a mail stating that "Your application has now been placed into processing". This was in November 2014 and $550.00 Canadian dollars deducted from my account.

Kindly advise me further.

Thank you.

Hello My People, I received my PPR today. It was like a dream. I was not expecting it as I was thinking AVO was holding all updates till after the fsw 2013 sets interviews scheduled for next week....Man Proposed, God disposes. I have learnt a lotta lesson in patience and utmost trust in God in this journey.

I pray that everyone receives favorable responses from AVO in due time.

Lotta thanks to the admins & moderators Pipis Husband, Kollins, KSA and others for their selfless service to this Forum.

May God Bless you all.

Amen and congrats Kay_diwe. It will not end here, you will testify further as you relocate.

That mail is referred to as PER. The next stage is MR (MEDICAL REQUEST) . When did you submit your app? People who submitted in June are presently receiving MR.

Hi, when you receive your PPR, it will contain certain instructions to you particularly the recommendation to use DHL although you are not restricted to using them alone.
It is advised that you use a DHL regional office and not just a small, parcel collection point. You can identify the one in your environment and approach them with a copy of your PPR email and pay for the service. You put all the passports for every member of your family included in the application into one envelope.
The cost will be given to you depending on your location in Nigeria when you get to the DHL office.

Hi, welcome aboard. Please add your details to our Google spreadsheet so we can track your progress and you can track ours for analysis sake. The links to enter your details and view the spreadsheet are below.
If you read from the first page of this thread, you will gain a lot and especially learn the meaning and uses of different terminologies.
Congratulations on receiving your PER which you quoted above. You will ow have to wait very patiently for the next phase which could be a request to submit further documents, provide a recent proof of your settlement funds or proceed for medical examinations.
All the best.

Congratulations Geoman! The mail you received is what the forum calls PER - Postive Eligibility Review. In that mail you should have seen your UCI - Unique Client Identifier and Immigration File Number/Application Number.
So now you are on queue to receive MR - Medical Request, which will require you to visit a CIC approved medical consultant for medical exams.

You can always check your application status electronically using the E-Client Application Status tool (E-CAS) on this link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp

Always feel free to throw any questions you have on this thread, there are lots of free consultants on here!
Welcome to the forum and congrats once again!

This is a sad situation but if the agent is registered with CIC, the applicant can report the issue using a CSE - Case Specific Enquiry and inform them that he wishes to discontinue using the services of the agent and process his FSW application on his own. https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

He can also request for the status of his application and quote his name as appears on his passport, his NOC and date of birth, these details can be used to trace his application on their system. He will need to be patient though as a response may come between 4 days to 3 weeks in average. I wish him the best.

many thanks Papis Husband. will pass this on. Really appreciate your input.
