Yes they can use COPR to enter from US to Canada via land. Its airports that use PR cards

I need some clarification regarding the POF.
Can i use my everyday bank account that has a minimum balance of xxx amount (that has never gone below what is required of the family in the past 3-6 months) or must the money be in a separate account (untouchable)?

You are very fine. The fact that the account is active with your POF sitting as minimum is a plus as it depicts financial discipline. Just keep it up whilst taking cognisance of exchange rate diff.
