Hi Forumites, Just some enquries. Is it mandatory for all your family members to undergo FSW medical test even if they are below 18? Also, would one send passport by post or you have to appear at the embassy in person with your dependants at the point of entry visa issuance? And, at what stage would ones's Biometrics be taken?

Hi Tols, medical exam is mandatory for everyone listed in your form as your immediate family whether or not they are 18 years old. Passports are dispatched and returned via registered courier eg dhl, fedex, ups

Hi all,

Just checked my Ecas and found that the second line "Medicals results have been received" has been added. I wish all expectant forumite speedy answers to your applications this new week.

Thanks Obinja, I was asking at the point of sending passport to Visa Office for visa issue, do we appear in person with family member at Accra office or we send passport by post for visa issue? Also, Is that the stage biometrics will be taken?

Good morning!
Congratulations to everyone that have received positive response from both CIC and AVO.
Please for people that have received their MR, did AVO call your employer? I want to leave my employer in February and I am worried that AVO may call and find out that I am no longer working with them. Also my office is not aware I made FSW application. If AVO called your employer pls let me know so that I can inform my HR department before I leave.

Thanks!

They didn't call my employer.
