I am a bit worry about my application, and this have to do with the adoption papers I am processing for my adopted child. The document is not ready and I am thinking is what is delaying my PER. I wouldn't want my application to be return because of this, what should I do. As at the time I submitted the application I wrote CIC that the document is being processed, and I will send it once gotten. Please dear forumites, I need your candid advice, can this actually delay the issuace of PER? My CC was charged on 18th Dec.

Hi, since your CC has been charged, your child's adoption processing will not affect your PER issuance. The delay is strictly an administrative affair and note that even after charging, your application will still go for further review according to MI guidelines. So hold on a while and relax, good things come to those who wait

Hello All, just wanted to let the house know our per dropped about 30 minutes ago. Can't believe they are working on Sunday. This forum has been fantastic...I am not active but the support and encouragement here is amazing. I feel like part of the family.

App received 15th October
Noc 2281
DD encashed on 18th December according to per mail

Was worried when I noticed an app received on the 17th got per on Friday. I will update the spreadsheet soon.

Good evening to all. I will like to make enquiries concerning WES.

Do WES take notification of result or it MUST be certificate? [font=Verdana[color=red]]It must be certificate and not Notification.. With Notification, your results may not have been picked by The University senate yet. If WES verification gets to LASU, its not likely the registrar will confirm it because you have not been issued a certificate yet.[/color]

Do we have any LASU graduate on the forum who successfully evaluated his or her credentials using notification of result and transcript? I did my PhD in LASU and I applied with my Certificate and M.Phil transcript being the coursework I did in LASU to convert to PhD.
My last enquiry about certificate processing in LASU indicated that it takes between 60-90 days minimum. In the last 6 to 7 years, If you were a full time student of LASU, your certificate must be ready and signed by the VC before Convocation. Be sure that all results are cleared. Your notification collected before NYSC will be exchanged for the original certificate if you go for Convocation. You only have cause to process certificate (60-90 days)if there is need for re-issue on grounds of mis-spelt names or other calligraphic errors. Its better you get your certificate before you apply to WES because what you submitted to WES may be scanned to your university for confirmation., via e-mail or by snail mail or courier if you paid WEs for it. I sent a colour copy of my certificate to clear the doubts of semblance.

Thanks DeeBruv. It was MBA I did at their jibowu campus in 2009. For our notification to be signed, our profile detailing our courses and grades must be attached to it. Invariably someone with an incomplete result won't get notification.

I will follow your advice and apply for certificate this week. I guess our certificate will only be printed and signed on request, hence the reason they told me such number of days.

Good write up dear, I gave you a +1 for this. The simple truth moving to Canada is not just for yourself,i mean as a parent but it is putting your children's future first. That is my own opinion.

You're on point like a needle Mz. Johnson. The move is not just about me, I'm looking to give my wife a shot at doing what will give her fulfilment. I'm also looking at giving my children a better footing to build a much better future. Most of us have lived half our lives anyway So let's do it for the kids!

Some of our kids may become adults in Naija without seeing a live monkey not to mention animals like the big cats, elephants and others that are even native to Africa. Some of these animals come across like fiction to even us adults. How many functional zoos do we have in this big country of ours? Talk about "quality of life". I beg make I try do small work for office jare.

Yea that is the truth,as a child we always went to the zoo in PH but it's no more. The kids need to have a chance to be what they really wanna be not what society dictates for them. I am living a good life but I want to live a better life with good health care facilities and also enjoy driving a good car on a good road. Majority of us struggled growing up so let us try and make it easier for our kids. I believe most of the hustle we hustle today are not for just ourselves but for the kids. So migrating to Canada is not just for migrating sake but for having a shot at a better life.

Read ur post.I finished from Ambrose Alli University 2006,no cert till now.I sent notification and transcript to wes and they verified,sent my report.I again sent d wes report,final degree notification in place of degree cert + a cover letter to CIC on Nov 12 2014 and cc charged January 12.
