Hi,

Pls has anybody here heard from Ghana.

My application got to CIC on 8th of May and I got a mail from them in the month of August 22nd telling me my UCI and application number and since then I have not heard anything till date.

I don't know if my letter had been sent to Ghana or still in Nova Scotia because I did not receive any notification.

I expect by now they should have sent for my passport for VISA but I have not even done medicals let alone requesting for visa.

Pls kindly advise . I just join the platform.

I read somewhere on the global forum that then reason why VOs are no more on the generic form is becos some VOs are overwhelmed so they may be sending the apps to VOs at their discretion. Maybe that's why we've not heard much in respect of overdue MRs. I don't know if this is true but It makes sense though.

My prayer is that wherever they send our files/apps, God will show forth for us irrespective of the VO handling it.

Anyway, just to put you in the know, Accra Visa Office treated few May and June applications already wrt MR and even Visa issuance (in some cases). Personally I am of the opinion AVO will continue issuing MRs next year cos they seem to be trying to issue PPRs to all applicants they gave MRs already.

Heyday, Patience is the key word. The good Lord will perfect ur concerns. Please note that you will get MR before PPR. You can use ur UCI to track it online. You may wish to liaise with PipisHusband, Kollins or other members too.

Hi, welcome onboard and don't be alarmed. There are quite a number of May applicants awaiting MR so you are not alone. God is always right on time so enjoy the year end, things can only get better in 2015. Just add your details to our spreadsheet like kay advised and stay in touch. I am very grateful for ur comment and u have given me lots of relief because I have been seriously disturbed. Thank its never too late to find this home.

I find most of the abbreviations dift but am getting use to it Lol. I will update myself and put in my little experience bc this is my second attempt.

I also wish to ask lots of questions on how to do somethings on this platform and pls can u pls send me PM on my mail so that I can ask my questions. Sorry I don't know how to send the private message I could have done that to all of u that responded to me questions.
