It's a privilege for you to already know your FX draft has been encashed.......Congrats in anticipation of your incoming PER email.
Not to worry about not hearing from CIC yet even though i doubt your draft been encashed on 10th September.......just one day after it was received .......it may have been encashed but surely not on 10th September.
Anyways....just to assure you that you're still fine,i have a buddy who's application was received in CIC on 25th August ,2014 and got PER on Friday 12th December ,2014 around 19.30GMT(Nigerian draft) so i believe you're still very much in the game and will hear from CIC before end of the year .
You're cool......relax.
Cheers
.
Thanks dear friend for the words of encouragement. Fingers crossed.

What your friend probably meant was that the draft amount was already debited from her account with the bank, not encased by CIC, tell her she needs to go to the bank and asked them if the draft has been cashed. She won't know unless the bank inform her.

Thanks.
Enity, no please. She had earlier called the bank(last month) on my behalf, she was informed that the draft has been cashed. I didn't hear anything from CIC, so I insisted that she goes to d bank not call, this she did, and they showed her the evidence and stuff. That is why I am worried.

Good morning All,
Please could you help to address my enquiries?

*I have sent a CSE to Accra on how to go about adding my infant, do I wait for them to respond or can I go ahead and send the required details? Our immigration lawyer already drafted a cover letter for us to AVO where she stated our forms where on their way to Accra and we needed to update. She also apologised for the inadvertent error of the refusal of visa details. The updated forms, passport photos, POF etc are all supposed to accompany her letter.
*Can I raise the draft in gtbank? (though Kollins advised against raising it in CAD)?

Yeah I know.....plenty story ???

Congrats Mrs L. Hope I have done that before ;)? I think it is best you courier the draft, the cover letter and the additional forms. AVO needs to encash it as soon as possible so that your MR and RPRF request will not take a long time.

It will be somehow if they don't receive it on time n then send your medicals without our lil cuties name in the family list. D earlier the better to avoid back n forth mails later. Cheers.

@ Mz Johnson, i am sure there is a mistake somewhere. There is no way that a draft will be cashed in a day after receipt of your application. Kindly let her double check
Thanks dear, she will triple check ;D :D because she has already checked 2x,but I am gonna try and call CIC. Thanks for your concern.

Good morning my friends, may this new week bring good news for all concerned. Cheers mate!!! :P :-* :-*

Nobody is doubting the bank draft been encashed....just the encashment date looks very funny.
I'm not saying its not possible but it means you are one in a million if it happened that your draft get encashed just a day after receiving your documents at CIC.
The good thing is that your PER email will state the date it was encashed so please kindly dont forget to tell the house when you receive your PER email.
If your friend has assured you that it has been encashed....just relax.
Like I told you,August,2014 applicants that used DD are still receiving PER mail so....so just be calm.
Cheers.

Thank you very much for all your efforts PH (+infinity to you), and thanks a lot Pipi for sharing him with us :)

Happy new week and mid-month guys.

December is shaping out nicely, thank God for all the updates and activities, we are moving towards the goal :)

Glad to announce the chat groups are not only up and running but already recording serious mileage in terms of usage and participation!

The BBM group has 31 subscribers and the WhatsApp group has 40 subscribers in just 3 days!! And we have discovered so many internal consultants and knowledge experts amongst us, you guys are too good and serious about this business o :o

We give God the glory for his great works, and I thank all who have come on board. Please if there is any one who sent a request to be added to either group but has not received notification that you are in, please pardon me. I may have omitted you inadvertently, kindly PM me with a reminder.

Thanks again to everybody, I prophesy that this journey, individual and collective, shall end in praise :D

Christmas Wishes and Happy new year from Pipi and me, Her Husband :)

You can surely raise it in Gtbank.
Raising it in CAD actually cost you higher than in USD but if you don't mind, both currencies are safe....
Infact, you can raise the draft in Ghanian CEDIS...trust me,its accepted.
Cheers.

Welcome back Canadian Mum.

Congratulations on the arrival of your littlest one Mrs L.

Congratulations to all who have recently received good news from CIC / AVO.

Special thanks to ksa, kollins for the ongoing analyses and encouragement, and to PH for consistently and continuously providing encouraggement and tools to enhance our connections.

To all of us waiting patiently, may our suru well never run dry :).

Mz Johnson seems kinda down with the no-response from CIC, well i am very hopeful that it'll come out positive, and like i always do, i will take one bottle for Ur head ;D, cheer up Ok! but my question is the deduction was it a CIC debit or the initial debit from the customer's account to the bank's pool account before the final deduction by CIC?
