Something just struck my mind mind, i sent in my original "letter of Reference" by my organization with my Application, i hope it's not a problem oh, cos i saw it somewhere where it was advised to send in a copy. I just hope its not requested for in a further stage cos i only have a Photocopy to present oh!
Hello, I'm new here but as per your observation, its easier to take the copy you have to HR for a reproduction or reprint on the original letterhead. I just don't like affidavits and police reports for documents, especially if I can get the original.

Oh, feels good to be here. I've been following threads on the global topic sheet. And I've been wishing I could pinpoint the Nigerians there. It kind of makes it easier to relate with. Good job, Pipi's husband. Hope to see everyone here in Canada. I wish there would a live forum like this in Canada so incoming immigrants can have people to meet for guidance et al.

Welcome baby girl. I agree with you. A live forum for landed naija forumites will be awesome. Obviously, we are just in act 1, scene 1 during the visa processing. Act 2 scene 1 starts after it. :D

Very good idea. I support a live foru for us in canada.

Hi babygirlie, welcome 'home'. Just as we are a family here for the application processes, we shall be a family in Canada as well for the landing/settlement activities as well.

We are already working on establishing a "Naija-Canada Connect" network, details to be shared in the new year, God bless. :)

lovely Innovation Pipis Husband, was also thinking we could start a Whatsapp group as well, i'm a member of one but its loaded by Indians and Pakistani folks and sometimes they can be so annoying when they start dropping messages in their language, was just thinking if we could set up a group for predominantly mobile users, it could also expand the reach and bridge communication gap as well as make more members active.
Just pondering!! what do U guys think?

Hi Silverblade, you are blessed for thinking in line with what is already at planning stages! We are in talks with some landed Nigerians if they will be willing to open their arms to helping those coming soon. Once we get the first 3 landed naijas on board, the details will be communicated.

Dear family, if you know/have any landed Naija family member or friend who will not mind our constant disturbance/quest for info via WhatsApp, kindly give us their contact info by PM so we can discuss with them (after you inform them of our intention o).

God bless :)
