I just joined a few days ago and don't really know how to use this forum. I sent my application on June 19 and it was received on June 24 but ever since I have not received any communication and when I checked with my bank in September, my bank draft has not been cashed. Are people with similar challenge and how can this be resolved?

Welcome to the forum.
It's unlikely that any applicants with your timeline will still be waiting for information from CIC regarding 24th June received application.Some bottlenecks may have prevented the successful passage of your application to the next stage and right now is not the time to be asking questions of how you did it.
Moving forward is my only preferred advice for you....and this involve submitting a newer application to CIC within the next 2 weeks not minding the cost of re-submission.
What is your NOC of interest ?
Also,are you desirous to submit within the next 2 weeks to make this work?
If you're desirous,the family here can make it work for you.
The only little challenge is the availability of your IELTS original trf and original ECA report.....apart from those two,i believe you have every other thing you need.
I assumed you have another copy of your original IELTS trf....if you don't have,you need to order another one online immediately for it to be delivered within 5 working days.
For IELTS trf,it's unlikely that British council will give you another copy of your result but that's no issues.
Once you're ready with all your package ,you can take it to British council,they will collect it from you and send on your behalf to CIC ......you only need to pay them courier charge to Canada.
The ball is in your court now.........make your decision .
I'm sure any assistance you need regarding sending your next applications available here for you....just ask,the thread members will be of a great help.

Please forumites, I need some clarification, though I saw self addressed mailing labels as part of the requirements to be submitted with the application packet, since I really couldn't understand what that was I sent 2 self addressed A4 envelopes instead, Please did anyone do same and yet got a positive response from the CIC or should I just look for the mailing labels and forward them in addition? Really appreciate your response on this.

Yes pls, I also submitted the same size of self addressed envelopes and I got my PER last week.

Wonderful response. Please - way forward is the only way. You can do this. Quickly ask wes and ielts to send you another set. Then pls its important to critically review the forms, etc. Also be sure that the NOC you are applying for isn't capped.

If its capped, sending another set of app will still receive the same response. All hope is not lost though. Keep keeping it alive.

Hi, welcome on board. Many applicants here used Nigerian debit cards both MasterCaRd and Visa issued by different banks including GT, Zenith, Ecobank, Access etc. All the cards worked.

If you are still not comfortable due to our usual network issues here, you can obtain a Canadian dollar draft from GT Bank which is the alternative to using a card. All the best.
