i just renewed mine too, delaying to get MR before informing AVO..
Normally passport required info of min 6months validity is requested by AVO at PPR stage..

Relax, a lot of people have gotten new passports after PER, some even have new addresses, new jobs, even new children! So your case can be handled when you get your MR at which point you can update AVO. Cheers

Raise a case specific enquiry to AVO straight away please.
You will get reply within a week on what you should do with respect
to the new passport.
Don't wait for MR please.

I am trying to get my UCI or anything. My consultant keeps telling me there is nothing to worry about, but I dont want to just sit back and do nothing.

Hello People.
I dont need any oracle to tell me that the Express Entry System coming in 2015 will be a tall order for many of us. The 2014 FSWP is quite direct and will prove to be favourable for many applicants. With Express Entry (going by what Australia and New Zealand are doing), you will need to be nominated by the Government or picked by a Corporation/Employer before you can be invited to apply.

I do NOT want to be part of this thing I beg o!!

Now my question is this: Is the 2014 FSWP going to run concurrently with the 2015 Express Entry when it commences?? I ask because people who have submitted applications say in August/September and get CC charged in December, there is hardly a chance that the process will be completed before the end of December 2014. Will the processing continue inline with 2014 system or will there be some kind of migration of applicants to the new system?
