Pips husband, kollins and ksa please I need your advice. I submitted my application early this month but for form IMM 5406 my wife and I filled on each with my own brothers and sister on mine while she also fill his own with family member and we both signed it. But where they put applicant I put my name for both form while she was spouse in both. I hope this will not affect my application.
Common mistakes by newbies .....no issues.
Your local visa officer will request an update of this form later during medicals.
IMM 5406 and IMM 5669 are common forms requested for updates from applicants.
If there are no errors technically with your package, you're cool.
Cheers
.

Can they verify if the funds is still in my account? do i have to keep the funds in the account until they verify?

From my experience working in a bank, high commissions or embassies send inquiries to the bank to verify the authenticity of what the applicant submitted (statement of account or fixed deposit certificate and covering letter). What they're basically requesting is for the bank to confirm that those documents emanated from their office and that they're valid. What the bank confirms in reply is that the documents emanated from them and they're valid as at the date issued. The bank will not normally say "this is the current balance on the account" or something like that.
Having said all that, I still think you should leave the funds jeje-ly o. This is Nigeria, you can never tell, AVO may request specifically that you generate another statement covering a 6month to 1 year period. And if the money no show say e don dey sit there since...... hmmmm, I no know o :-)

Lol, you said it all. That is the truth. The moment a bank replies to embassy confirmation, "we are unable to comment further on the balance in the account", AVO knows the money is no longer complete and that is the end of the PR journey.

Please guys, don't touch your POF if you know you can't make it up at a moment's notice and especially if you have no explanation for fluctuation of your balance. Ask Kollins, many of our brothers and sisters have developed ulcers trying to make back their POF that they have 'chopped'.
Let the money rest in your account until you get your PR. At that point, you can order for Canadian spec Range Rover, the car is popular over there :) :)
