We thank God that Nigeria has overcome the Ebola virus spread and the WHO has even designated Nigeria as an Ebola free country.
At this stage,we should commend the indefatigable efforts of Lagos & Rivers states, and Nigerian Federal government as a whole in combating and eliminating the spread of the virus.Imagine the destinies and futures of so many people that the famous 'Patrick Sawyer' would have put at risk&jeopardy if the spread virus was not successful.
I will also plead with applicants especially the intending ones with emphasis on the FSW2014 applicants not to let anything make them to undergo any trip to Liberia,Sierra Leone and Guinea.
This is because under the new Canadian regulation which comes to force immediately,Canada will not process visa applications from foreign nationals who have been in an Ebola affected country within the last/previous three months of the application. This means anybody with supplementary travel information to these countries should consider the application as unsuccessful.
It is well oooooo.
Cheers.

Canada will stop issuing visas to people from the three West African nations where Ebola is widespread, the government said on Friday.

The federal citizenship ministry, explaining the move, said in an official document that "the introduction or spread of the disease would pose an imminent and severe risk to public health".

About 5,000 people have died in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone this year in the worst Ebola outbreak on record. Fears rose that the disease could spread beyond the region after a few cases were diagnosed in Spain and the United States.

Congratulations to all who have received the good news that they have crossed the first PER hurdle.

For those of us expecting PER in 2015: it is well! "Relax" is the keyword as Canadian Mum keeps reminding us.

Thanks much ksa510 for that CIC communication "expo"; plenty +1 to you.

To PH, ksa510, kollins, Canadian Mum, and all who provide prompt responses to guide and calm the nerves of enquirers: tuwaile to you and all the +1s we are legally allowed to give :).

Happy new month and happy new week to all.

Good evening my people. Can someone clarify if retirement savings account(eg Trustfund or Stanbic IBTC pensions) account statement can be used as a proof of settlement fund.
Secondly, kindly assist with the SPECIFIC address that the application is to be addressed to.
Lastly, Is it ok to combine one's account along with my spouse's fixed deposit as proof of fund.

Your usual cherished advice will be appreciated.

Yes you can use ur trust or pension fund as pof it is acceptable at application stage though u might be ask for update at a later stage by Accra Visa office. You can present both or either of you and spouse acct information and it will acceptable as long as d accts is in either or both of ur names.
goodluck

Good morning fellows. Hope we all had a good weekend.

Just to cnfirm...when spouse is completing the "Additional Family Information Form" (IMM5406) the spouse writes name in Applicant field and the principal applicant's name is in "spouse or common law partner field", is this correct ? because the form is just one...Is there a need to to write on form e.g. principal applicant's spouse.
Secondly, when completing job durations...if one is still in an employment, what date do I put if I'm still in the emolyment (e.g. 05/05/2011 to Date)...someone suggested putting current date for the end date...another suggestion is to put 00/00/0000 for the end date. Which is advisaable?
Thank you.

I have actually completed my own form and already have my PER, a friend is asking and I just want to clarify.

I pray that there will bw more testimonies this November.
