Please i need your input. Sept 12 applicant but yet to receive MR, any reasons MR can be delayed?

Are there people that had their MR delayed and for how long.

Dear Alnako. MR notification depends on which of the visa officer handling your file. I understand your feelings but believe that your MR would come to you soon.
For example, some people received MR only while some received MR and RPRF only and others received MR, POF, PCC at the same time. So it really depends on the officer handling your file.
Expect your MR next week and you will share a testimony.
Keep praying and praising God for your testimony. Though it seems your MR tarries but it will surely come.

Thanks @esttycan14. That implies i have to start gathering the 5 documents starting with police certificate for her then when her ielts result comes in followed by marriage certificate, wedding pics and proof of funds to upload on my CSE to AVO.
Pls do i need to do police certificate myself. Mine expired in march 2015 after PER was given in feb 2015. Pls note that police certificate lasts just a mere 3 months or is it wise to delay it till MR is requested by AVO?

It is better for you to send all at the same time.

You do not necessarily need her ielts results. your spouse's Ielts results in the application is for boosting your points. Since you have scaled through the initial stage and had sufficient points the ielts for your spouse is not compulsory.

Thanks a lot for ur analysis @ dotsngr. I fully appreciate it. From October applicants on the forum receiving MR now it seems most likely i may receive a MR soon maybe late july or august. I guess its wise to do at least a court wedding and update AVO so as to set d ball rolling and not cause any unnecessary hiccups for myself. My fiancee intends to sit for ielts this month. Pls do i need to upload and send the ielts result(when released) along with marriage certificate and wedding pics as CSE to Accra Visa Office

Ure welkm, ehmmm... ur wife's IELTS is not so important now as you have already gotten ur scores n PER without it even. The most important documents are ur wedding certificates , wedding pics, ur cover letter, and if possible ur previous 'lovinggitis' pictures and love letters at least to proove to dem that the marriage isnt a hoarse. All other docs are important oo, but the key thing is the certificate n wedding pics with which to do a sharp CSE to notify them about your change of status.
