Hello people,

I got info from my bank that CIC attempted my card twice yesterday (a minute interval) and couldnt go through. What i discovered was an error from my bank who placed hold on my account without informing me.

My bank has removed the hold and the account is free to be debited. In this case, will CIC attempt to debit again or should i call CIC and explain and that they should go ahead to debit my account.

please this is urgent.

Congratulations to all that have gotten great news this week. ;D
I'm having a small challenge matching the success news with the spread sheet.
I know there are some people that really do not want to share their news on the forum (for reason best known to them) but i will plead such people should please send a PM to the administrators to update the spreadsheet.
For example, some people will still be on PER received section of the spreadsheet and all of a sudden, you will see on the forum that such person has landed (I believe in miracles too ).
Kindly help us with every stage of your processing either on the forum or through a PM to the administrators as such news stirs faith in others and help us to track the speed of the AVO.

Please I need help in this. I would like to know what a person should do if he has already submitted a copy of his wife's international passport bearing her maiden surname and has gotten PER now changes his wife's surname on a new international passport. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Hi, all you need to do is submit a scanned copy of the new passport, another scanned copy of the old passport and scan of her marriage certificate. You can do so using a CSE where you explain the circumstances, https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=accra

Hi CIC usually attempts to debit cards across 4 to 6 days. So your card will be tried again however, you can update CIC to retry using a CSE and explain the circumstance, https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

CIC will normally try to charge your account thrice, please inform you bank to give allow Citizenship and Immigration to take the amount.

Hello everyone. .. am so happy today!
9ja no dey carry last at all..... I initially thought without a representative your application processing will be slowed down but going through chats in the forum its clear to me that it doesn't follow. .. I have also noticed accra visa office is not as slow as stated in the cic website in their processing time..
finally I that everyone in this forum esp the administrators... you guys have done a lot.. only God will reward you... Thank you again.
