And this phase of our journey to Canada came to a positive end today, we picked up our passports and CPR this morning. All glory to Almighty God, and to all those expectant members ,may you get positive news from AVO


However there is an issue , I noticed that my baby's United States passport didn't have a visa stamped in it. Is this normal as US citizens don't need a visa to enter Canada or its an omission and I should notify Accra ASAP? Please anyone with experience should provide us with a response so we can act swiftly.

Siddy15 Congrats once again...No need to fret..your baby doesn't need a stamped Canadian visa to enter Canada your baby is a US citizen and therefore visa exempt.Relax and start packing your bags.No be the baby fault say she/He be US citizen na..lol

Congratulations siddy15, wishing you a successful integration in your new country. I think it's alright as there is no visa agreement between citizens of the U.S and Canada, however you can also wait for the seniors in the forum to better educate you.

Country: United States citizens and permanent residents

You do not need a visa to visit or transit in Canada if you are a United States citizen or a person lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence who is in possession of their alien registration card (Green card) or can provide other evidence of permanent residence.
