join me in thanking God, i received my long awaited PER mail today when i go back from work, its was issued on the 10th of February 2015. please friends i already sent a mail to CIC concerning the correction of email and i am yet to hear from them for almost 3weeks now, that it's as been corrected.

1. Please friends now that i am sure my file will be in Ghana, how do i notify Ghana as regards the correct email address or do I wait for CIC to respond to my mail?

2. How long those it take to hear from AVO after your PER?

Hi Chief thank you so much for your time again.
Firstly , we have a genuine reason with our UK visa extension process. We are as of today still legal in the country as there is still no decision made yet after our appeal hearing and we are using the services of an immigration lawyer.
The way the UK system works now is that they do not return one's passport for one to renew or travel with it and come back and send it back to them.
They can only return it to us at the airport as long as we can show them our flight tickets.
Our concern is, if AVO ask us to send our passports, buying flight tickets immediately wouldn't pose any problem, our concern is how long it will take Home office to bring our passports back to travel and be able to renew them, send them off to AVO and be able to achieve all of that within the allotted time frame.
Change of name can wait for now, I totally understand how that might complicate thing at this time.

Our police report for Nigeria and UK were included in the application in May 2014.
The passports are not with us if they are we would have renewed them in London. We have to recall them but unfortunately Home office can only bring them at the airport on the day of departure and that means we have to forfeit their decisions on the appeal. I really don't know how we could cross this last bridge head, but God can help and I really could do with some more heads up please.
I am not the principal applicant this time, my wife is and I will ask you to ensure she is on the data base/ tread.
once again thank you immensely for your candid opinion.

my two kobo is this,

wait until you get your passport request from AVO before you take any major step.
from what you have written, i perceive you will forfeit your request from UK Home Office if you leave UK before they give you a response. A bird in hand is worth more nine in the bush.

Think of all possible scenarios and plan out what you will do for each.

what you should find out is the shortest possible time it will take the UK home office to bring your passports once you inform them of your intended travel. i guess a little research on your part will give you the info or ask your immigration lawyer.

if you get your PPR before the UK home office decision, request for your passports immediately. Let them know there is an emergency that requires you to leave immediately. (your PPR request is an emergency ) i believe its possible. even if it takes you seven to nine days to arrive after your passport request, go straight to the passport office, get your passport in two days making it nine to eleven days after PPR, you can still send via DHL, it takes only three days from Nigeria or better still fly to ghana and send from there.

But for all you know your passport request may not even come until everything is sorted with the Uk home office.
