Hello Grey2012, I did my medical on the 10th and Ecas was updated on the 15th. Are you sure you clicked the In Process when you logged in? It should be updated by now.

Kindly recheck to be sure.

hellO kAY-DIWE,CONGRATS ON YOUR MR,I noticed we got MR same day,i did mine two days after i got the request which is about two weeks ago,however i am yet to get an update on my ecas,i will like to know if you have done yours too and if you have an update yet.your response will be appreciated,thanks.
Or is there anybody in same shoes as I am ? I am quite worried that after two weeks of taking the medical exam my ecas hasnt been updated yet.please advise.Thanks

I recieved my MR request today with RPRF.
No update on IMM form 5669 and PCC.
I earlier recieved POF update on 11th February and my documents got there on 18th February.
Thanks to Pipi's husband who patiently explained things to me and thanks to all the wonderful people on this forum.
Admins please help update on the spreadsheet.

My people my PPR came in a few minutes ago. I can only thank God for being with us all the way. I also want to thank you all in this forum you have been incredibly helpful. The day i submitted my documents to FEDEX after my MR, i came back to my system only to see the discussion on visa refusals as per form 5669 and i remembered i didn't fill in a previous UK visa refusal in my form. you guys should have seen me running back to the courier's office like a bat out of hell. I managed to retrieve the package and filled the forms again before dispatching it the next day. I said i wouldn't mention this until i get my PPR. Special thanks to Kollins who has been helpful all through the way particularly my MR period.

Hello friends,

The second line " medical result received" has been added to my ecas. My passport will expire in September 2015. I am thinking of renewing my passport before my PPR by AVO. Please what do you think?

I also want to know the deadline from PPR to the submission of the passport.

Since you have 6 months to the expiry of your passport document,you can surely renew it now.......Please do so immediately.
It takes less than a week to get renewal done.
if you do not renew it,there is every possibility that the stamped visa on your passport will expire on the date your passport document expire...rather than the default one year from the date your medicals was done.
Accra Visa office will normally give you 15 days to submit your passports in their PPR mail to you.....calendar days and not working days unless they have changed it...which i doubt.

I have another question, I maybe out of naija for about 90 days from April 2015, how can I extend the submission of my passport for visa after the PPR and for how long?

Send a CSE to Accra(https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=accra) immediately and give them the main reason for your not been around.....please support your reason with justifiable evidence/documents.
Whatever happens,if if they accept to delay it by three months for you....know for sure that the lost 3 months will actually be from you 12 months validity period of your stamped visa.

Just a follow up to Grey2012 querry about the update for the medicals on ECAS....
He/She received update on ECAS as second line within the last 2 days and already has his/her details on the SS with "AP" as the SS name on row 47.
This also a medium to tell Grey2012 that his/her inbox is already full and ca no longer receive private mail from anybody again which means your inbox could not accommodate my response to you.
Summary is....your details is on row 47.
