i am a dec 9th applicant and i am yet to be charged. I applied for noc code 1114 with CC mode of debit. What is my faith? is there a number i can call CIC to enquire about the status of my application?

Unibadan, there is no cause for alarm. You will be charged when the time comes. Hopefully, you should be expecting your PER by 1st week in March or even less.

Hi everyone,

I think its now confirmed that I am out of FSW 2014 .

A 21st Nov applicant who was mysteriously charged (I said mysteriously because no one was charged after Oct 21st and there was a jump to her date!) got her application returned afterwards due to cap full for NOC 1123 :'( :'( :'(.

I am in no way deterred as I kinda expected this going by the updates and news about NOC 1123. I'm most grateful to God for the grace He gave me to move forward in this journey through exploring other routes (SINP and EE) and I'm very certain He will see me through ;D. I also appreciate everyone who has been of one help or the other - your show of love and concern, advise, encouragement, moral support and even the minutest words of humour to say the least have made the whole adventure worthwhile .

I wish everyone awaiting positive update from CIC/AVO speedy testimony, knowing that He who has began the good work in us will surely perfect it IJMN. Amen :-*

I am a 2011 applicant. Got Medical Request in November 2014 and just got my Visa this month to Gods glory. However, I have a situation at hand. My Nigerian passport will expire in November and my visa will also expire in the same month. I am planning on travelling in September. Based on your wealth of experience in this house, can someone advise if anyone has had that kind of experience before? Is it still possible for me to renew the passport before travelling in September now that the Visa has been issued on the almost expiring passport?

Please help.

Big Congrats! What a long journey. I think u can still use ur current passport to travel to Canada in Sept, then later on you can renew it there.

Dear BCornerstone, why should just conclude like that. It does not matter if they jump some applications. I think your impression about your application is false & wrong.

A 17-dec-2014 applicant just got a confirmation that her draft was cleared yesterday Feb 16, 2015

Don't conclude finally until you receive any info from CIC.

Hi Chris. You can renew your passport HERE before travelling Its easier and faster. When a passport is cancelled, it does not affect the valid visa on it. Just attach the new one to the old one reflecting the PR Visa. My wife had a 10 year visa on her passport in 2010, and has renewed her passport once. Her UK Visa is still valid till 2020. She attaches her old passport to the new one whenever she travels. So RENEW THE PASSPORT HERE AND ATTACH THE OLD PASSPORT. PROCESSING A NIGERIAN PASSPORT IN CANADA WILL COST YOU A LOT, MIND YOU, YOU HAVE TO WATCH YOUR SPENDING WHEN YOU LAND EXCEPT IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ARRANGED EMPLOYMENT.

Please Seniors, I need your help, my application got to CIC on 19th of Nov, found out that my draft as been cashEd Around 27th Jan By the receiver general, My issue is that I have noticed that people In NOV have collected there pER. I even noticed that some1 that dropped his application for 25th of NoV As gotten his PER. seniors pls help me, this wait is killing especially when u see people that submitted after u have collected there PER. Pls I need to know if dere is anybody in this forum that drop his or her application on the 19th of Nov that as not collected his or Her PER? :'(

I just found it on-line that HND/OND credentials are evaluated by University of Toronto Continuing Education Service thanks

CalgaryChic. congrats on your PER. I am happy that WES can actually evaluate his OND/HND. but we could only find the platform for university credentials on WES. how can we go about it
