Hi, you can place a call to CIC in Canada with the number below. You'll need to be very patient as you may spend almost 20 or 30 mins on hold with them. Call them as from 12 noon, Nigerian time (which is 8am in Canada).

+1-613-944-4000 Select 1 for English, cheers :)
Just a small addendum to this......
Please try as much as possible never to mention FSWP while speaking with any of their agents on phone .
If you do,you can be assured of no positive result.
Be careful in how you ask your questions.
Cheers
.

Information Needed

My wife is the principal applicant and she has B.Sc. in Accounting, MBA and ACA.

Can anyone recommend accounting-based Canadian certification that she can acquire while she is here and before arriving in Canada (by the grace & mercy of God)?

I will appreciate if I can get a list of those and check them up for her. While we wait for our COPRs & PRVs, she can get herself busy to write the exam here (if possible).

I am aware that one may not be able to write some Canadian certification exams outside Canada but at least one can start studying & preparing from here before landing.

Thank you.

Pls she should check out this. They are starting it via online clas for outsiders for the first time in September 2015.

Hi,
I was looking at the SS with the intention to not only register but to track progress of applications. Please I need explanations on how it works as some whose application was received later have already gotten an MR before earlier received applications??

Hi, the issue of which application is treated before others is the mystery of the year. To an appreciable extent, processing is not first come, first served but a black hole.

Be that as it may, you can still log your details and study what is available. Just don't use your review as a possible measure for your own progress.

Rather, leave it to God and wait patiently. Very patiently :)

Very true. I say amen to your prayer too. There are still 2013 applicants who are still waiting for MR, PPR etc. Let me not even talk about my first application done in 2007 and how many yearssssss I waited, only for our fsw set to be cancelled and my file was not even processed.

Pls let us all learn patience. I believe it will end in praise for us all.
Like someone said yesterday, AVO official processing time is 31 month. Kpata Kpata just put 2 years for mind, so you can HV peace of mind. It is well.

True talk Dotsngr. Patience & Perseverance are the keys in this journey. All that starts well must end well with prayers.

I'm speechless with praise to God.

Our visas and COPR landed today.

Journey started in 2011 with a rejection then NOC 3131 disappeared from the occupation list for good. This year, something similar 0311 came up and we applied. 8 months later, we are rolling in joy and trepidation for the life ahead.

My thoughts are with all those waiting, it shall surely come to pass.

Men, this visa fine no be small............ :D :D :D

Congrats Zoze.... I am green with envy ooo. Cant wait to be in your shoes. All the best in your future endeavours in Canada. Regards to your family

Dotsngr e be like say we dey same boat. My application was 2006 and the end it was cancelled in 2012.

So I tell you the process is way better off than ever before. Give or take 2 years everything is all settled - that's a big plus compared to how it used to be so we have no cause to complain.
