I just want to appreciate ksa0510 for the help rendered to me. I put it up here that i needed someone to help me with my WES report from canada and without having met me, he gave me an address in canada to forward the report and sent it via someone to my office here in lagos.

i ask myself, could i have done this for someone else.

May the good Lord reward you. i am really short of words.

i absolutely agree with you KSA0510 is a great guy, i sent my forms to him which included my fee form with all my details in it(i should have removed them) i was initially so scared that i had to move all my money from the account because i couldnt cancel the card at that point but i made up my mind to trust this guy and nothing funny happened in my account.

he assured me CIC was going to charge my card which happened last month. He is a great guy in my own opinion.

1. What is d usual practice of CIC once the FSWP package is received, do they communicate to you immediately or what? What's d duration it takes them to communicate to an applicant after the document is delivered? And what's the content of their first communication?

2. Please I need CIC contact number to follow up with them. I have searched online to no avail.

i called cic and got my UCI no
when i tried to check status with correct information filled properly it says as follows

Your file undergoes a completeness check, an eligibility check after which your credit card gets debited or demand draft gets encashed. After this you get an email from them informing you of your positive eligibilty,as well as, the transfer of your file to your visa office

The basic stages are - Application submission - DD/Credit card charge - Positive Eligibility Review (PER) mail- Medical request (and at times Proof of Funds update request)-Passport Request-passport Stamping-

I'm tempted to ask how sure you are that your DD has been encashed......only then can the house be reasonably assured that you're on queue for the receipt of PER.
If truly you're sure it has been encashed ,your PER will come soonest and you may be able to check your details on ECAS either before or shortly after PER email as ECAS server gets updated weekly mostly on Tuesdays.
Surely,as many applicants of your timelines are been updated on ECAS,yours will soon come up too.
Like i said,assurance of the encashment of your DD needs to be ascertained.
