Hello please, someone just introduced me to this forum. Please is there anyone that submitted in October and has been charged by CC or DD yet? I want to be sure cos my bank took a charge on the money i had in my account and the balance dropped without my awareness. Only knew when i logged in cos its an american bank account. Have since topped it up and want to knw if it is not a little too late.

Hi Escape, Complements of the season. I want to believe from your narration above that you used your credit card. Usually it is annexed to an email or phone number which alerts one in case of any debit or credit or also attempted debit. Have you received any so far? If no, then be rest assured that you haven't missed out. If yes, how many times did the attempt go? Usually CIC tries for three times before they give up n return the application.

hi Escape, when in October did CIC receive your application?

if its late in october, then you should still be on course, if much earlier you may want to confirm from your bank if any attempt was made on your card.

You need to call your bank ASAP to find out if there has been an attempted charge from "Citizen and Immigration Canada" If there has been, when? CIC will try 3 times. If there hasn't been, notify them of the impending charge. I used and an American bank too and had issues because the charge was declined. I was lucky to find out, so I called my bank to inform them that the charge will come again and to approve it.

I got my PER in the month of August 12, and since then I did not hear anything again. What BTW and I don't understand what u mean by my time line.

Hi, BTW means By The Way and your time line means the key dates in your processing like date application was received in Canada, date your credit card was charged or date your draft was cashed and date you received PER, MR etc
Don't worry, you're not alone as many of us here are in the same position as you. If you care to check our spreadsheet, you'll see there are people who got PER before you also waiting.
Just relax, God's time is the best
