Hello everyone I am new to this forum.i am a nigerian and I applied for the 2014 fswp. My Credit Card has been charged and 7 hafe received a PER mail from CIC . Do I have to update any form to continue my membership. My application was received oh the 13th of may.

Congrats on your PER, if you have had any change in circumstance since you applied then you should let your local visa office know about it. cheers

Oh dear! I've been away for the weekend. Im glad you submitted your application already. Perhaps if you had been here for a while you would have been able to submit your application directly (saving some quid from using a consultant). That is not to discredit any consultant as this forum is actually a brainwork of a consultant. Anyone im sure there expertise would make your application sail through too.

Welcome to the waiting club! You just cross your fingers and wait for Accra VO to contact you. The first MR was just reported last week for a May 2013 applicant and that is record time...

Congrats on your progress.
You have scaled the 2nd hurdle. Accra should contact you for your MR; and maybe PCC in another 8-12months if everything is cool with your application! All the best.

Thanks to PipisHusband for the creation of this thread. I have been following the generic thread since May until i felt it is time i shift allegiance to my people after securing my PER on the 7th August 2014 after so many attempts. Am so grateful to God.

My NOC is 2174
PER Date 7th August 2014

Please i will like to know how long it takes ECAS to be updated by Ghana VO. Am aware our black brothers do not send AOR

Congrats on your PER sir. Hard to say when AVO will update your ECAS, those guys are so unpredictable. I'm sure you know they are still battling with 2011 and 20133 applicants. Keep your fingers crossed, our hope is that they will work concurrently on 2014 applications.

hello all, im pretty confused but since there are peeps here with wealth of experience and exposure I want to ask 1 candid question.
Do i need to use david cohen or any consultant??? its like im between the devil and the deep blue sea because i dont want any mistakes or complications in my application yet these consultants are pretty pricey! hence the query if they offer any special services???

Hi miccodb...David Cohen is ok but please note that he does not have any input to the outcome of the process so since u have access to the well-detailed instruction guide on CIC website, read through it carefully and am sure you will be good to go...Goodluck pal

Please feel free to seek for clarification here. You can actually apply yourself except you do not have the time to devote to study the instruction guide.

I am new to this thread though I have been following it. My docs are complete and I'm in the process of Notarizing them pending receipt of my ECA from WES. I however need a clarification please. I'm not sure what job function to put under noc 1114 which is my preferred option. I work in a bank as a Relationship manager, I don't know if that suffices for Account Manager. Kindly assist.

@calgarychic ur job title is not really the issue as long as yr job duties matches d noc 1114 or u can check out noc 1212 too.
All your job duties at work presently must be in d noc u are applying for.
