Are they registered or licensed Canadian immigration consultant please?
If they are not licensed and you report to the local visa office,your application
will be terminated straightaway because you have been warned not to engage
unregistered agent.
If you have paid as much as $3000,I will humbly advise you to keep them.
Just be proactive on your part and follow up on the forum to know what
is going on with all applicants.

Can I send my application without my ECA?

Dear Seniors,

I cant apply to FSWP 2014 as I don't have my ECA yet from CES University of Toronto. My expected date of receiving the ECA is sometime in January as CES is frustratingly slow -apparently my application is invalid and will be rejected without it.

I had thought that they will allow FSWP to continue upto April 2015 and gradually transition to EE. Apparently, FSWP ends on 31 Dec, 2104.

Should I send my application without it? I will attach my CES University Receipt and my emails to them as proof and a cover note saying that I will send them the ECA upon receiving it.

Kindly advise?

If you want to take the risk,please go ahead.
It is a 50-50 chance that your ECA will be added once
you send it in January as addendum.
One thing for sure is that COMPLETENESS CHECK for
December applications will be starting in JANUARY,
2015.
Take that big risk pakimom.

Simple.
You send hard copies via courier and scan the documents to CIC as well.
Write a cover letter,stating the following:
1.Your details
Full name,Date of birth,Nationality,Passport Number,UCI #(if applicable),NOC
2.When the first application was received with the courier name & tracking info.
3.Reason for sending the addendum
4.Sign the letter.

Thanks Boss! Busy day...would have responded earlier. No worries, I won't tell them that you taught me how to 'jabo' them
The major issue we had with them was with the delay in acknowledging and forwarding our PER mail. We were tracking charge and PER issuance date on the global forum so we knew when to expect our PER. We called them and they insisted that they didn't have the mail that we should be patient. We had to call CIC and they gave us our UCI which we used to track our application online. We then called the lawyers again and they apologized profusely and forwarded the mail immediately while we were still on the phone with them.
thing is, I think that's a silly mistake to make. If we weren't proactive nko? Besides, we don't quite need them for anything anymore considering we can do our medicals and send our passports without any help from them. Hence, we are considering terminating the contract. Please note that we don't owe them a dime so far. We've paid over $3000 in legal fees thus far. Our next and final installment is due when we get MR, I think. We might as well save on that if we terminate the contract. At the same time we don't wanna be penny wiseuand pound foolish. What are the possible repercussions of terminating the contract? Will it stall or slow down our application process? Can we be victimized for doing so? Their balance is about $850.

Hmmmmmm......seems i remembered you now from another forum thread
To be fair enough to you,you have every justification to legally terminate the contract with them because of what they did.
But this act would have been honourably justified if you have acted immediately by stating your complaints and reporting them to CIC or your visa office ....which can be corroborated with evidences of the actual date that CIC sent the PER mail to them and the actual date your team of consultants sent it to you.
Meanwhile,as it is now,seems your actions will not be legally honorable again even though it's your personal decision and you only have the power to make the decision.
It seems to me you have paid about 77.9% of the total sum....I believe the remaining 22.1% shouldn't be too much to pay for you.
I will advice you to keep them but not forgetting to send a strong worded statement telling them to always be on time in corresponding with you as time is of much importance at the remaining stages now as it can lead to a permanent refusal of your application(I'm sure you should have sent this to them after PER either by mail or verbally on phone).
If you have done that,let it go and leave them.
To tell you the truth,with the evidence you have at your disposal,you have all the justification and evidences to terminate the contract legally without any repercussions but like i say,it's no more honorable if your intentions to terminate the contract was not carried out immediately when the incident happened.
Like i say,keep calm and pardon them even though you have every justification to do so.

Congrat Zoze, just worried now, which hospital did you used for your Medicals? i did mine 4 days earlier than yours and yet no updated ECAS or response from AVO. What could be happening?

I used Abuja Clinics. I pray yours is updated soon. Did you try calling the hospital to find out if it has been sent? I called mine before the update and they confirmed it has been sent

The second line of my ecas changed yesterday afternoon (I know because I checked in the morning!) to "Medical results have been received". I am praying to receive the almighty Passport request soon.

I applied for WES assessment of my B.Sc(4years) and MBA(2 years-Executive), the 2 Universities have sent my transcripts for verification. The University where i did MBA has responded but my B.Sc. University is yet to respond as the contact there says they are yet to receive the verification mail from WES.

As my highest qualification(MBA)'s institution has responded to verification inquiry, can their response be used to conduct my assessment as I am almost out of time for Federal Skilled Work application submission?
If it is possible, what are the implications on the outcome of the assessment; will it affect the outcome if we are to wait for the response from my B.Sc. University. Note that based on my calculations, I stand at 69 points and therefore need all points as I dont know if they would assess my points differently.

If it wont affect the outcome, can I I urge/advise WES to proceed with my assessment?

Hi.. As far as I know, u only need to evaluate your highest degree. In your MBA WES evaluation, it would be started there that a Bachelors degree was a prerequisite for entry to study your Masters.

I didn't even bother initiating the process of sending my Bachelors degree for evaluation. I only evaluated my M.Sc and scored the 23 points available there.

Bottom line, proceed without the Bachelors if its taking too much time. You can even contact WES, telling them to forget about evaluating the Bachelors and proceed to evaluate just the MBA.

SPEED UP MAN.. You dont wanna be caught up with the dreaded Express Entry.
