Please I need your help, is the process time for single applicant different from family.
Because is 3 weeks AVO received our passport without update on our mycic account, should I start getting worried or I should raise CSE or send a mail.
Kindly help. though we are express entry applicant.

Usually, there is no stipulated time frame for a family composition but you can always raise a CSE if you feel not too comfortable with the wait.

Hi, there is no format to request an update. Just send a mail or use the CSE to sk for the status of your passports. Click on this link and go to 'Enquiries' for either their email address or access to the web form to fill the CSE, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/accra.asp

Be advised however that it can take up to 6 weeks in some cases to receive the passports back. The delay is not something to be worried about, we've had such cases here before and the applicants got their visas.

It was sent on ----------- as requested and we are yet to get any response from your office. I am even beginning to think that you might have sent a correspondence which we missed out of and as a result, did not know that we were meant to have acted .

You can add to it ooo but remember that it must be a simple letter that is straight to the point. You can either compose a mail and send using the trailing mails that you have being receiving from Accra or use the CSE link. The above is my opinion.

To God be all the glory, Visas and COPRs received for my family on May 23, 2016.
I am grateful to God who has brought us to a successful completion of this journey which started way back in 2008. Here we are, after two TRV refusals in 2008 and 2010, and FSW 2011 application which disappeared into "thin air" and remains untraceable till date despite the use of a Canadian based consultant. TRV was eventually issued in 2013 and again in 2015 as well as Student visa (issued to spouse) in 2015. All existing valid Canadian visas were cancelled upon the issuance of the Immigrant visa.
I take this opportunity to appreciate the amazing support and wonderful contributions of everyone on this platform, particularly Pipis Husband and Neyobash. With the information and help available on this forum, the use of a consultant was totally unnecessary for me. To everyone awaiting positive updates from AVO, it will soon be your turn to celebrate IJMN, Amen.

I joyfully announce the pick up of our Visas and COPR this evening. God is too much.

I will like to say a big thank you to Flosure for his prayers, support and encouragement, for all his assurances when I was worried and unsure. To Pipi's husband for his advise and counsel. And finally to our own Neyobash, who gave me the VIP treatment and picked my late night calls, addressing my worries and ensured that I and my passports are reunited.

For everyone waiting for one update or the other, just trust God to complete what He has started. It may be slow but it will SURELY happen.
