i want to know if i should keep my fingers crossed or inform the bank in advance

Hi, Standard Chartered Bank is an international bank with active transactions monitoring software. Please inform the bank about your pending card transaction & value and authorise them to let it sail through so that it is not suspended. Cheers.

who would have thought 2014 applicants would be processed with lightning speed? Indeed His ways are not ours.

I would like advice from ur seniors please; I applied to NS under the RMLD stream in March. due to all the changes in critieria i had given up hope and engaged a consultant for the fsw 2014 (same destinantion though).

Now I have received file number and my application is being processed (NSNP) but no update from my consultant on the fsw program (August 1 application). How do I confirm my fsw application is in queue or cc has been charged? How do I avoid having 2 applications running at the same time because I dont know if that is grounds for refusal?

I am thinking of disengaging the consultant, not that he has done poorly, just so that I can have more control over what is happening etc (and save 950usd outstanding payment too) but i dont know how to go about it.

Please advice

Hi, take a copy of the draft to the GT Bank branch or Head Office where you collected it and request that you want to know if the draft has been cashed in Canada. In my case, they sent a mail to Citibank concerning this. I went home and later that evening I got a mail from GT Bank acknowledging that the draft was cashed and date. Pretty simple,

It's not a minus to have application in two separate immigration streams and will not lead to problems for you as they are designed for separate purposes. In yiur case, one leads to Provincial visa, the other to Federal. If the two applications are accepted at CIO, you will be required to nominate the one you want to proceed with at VO

Well, you can choose to report the consultant if you are displeased with his services (check here, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/representative/index.asp) or you can simply pay him off for the level of work done as at now if you want the split to be amicable

Hey kollins, I posted a question to you regarding the PPR mail you got. I didn't see a reply from you (I know we were all caught up in the euphoria of the moment). Here's the question again.

Does the unchecked boxes mean you should check each that apply and respond accordingly or simply ignore? Also, do you still have to fill the eye color and all the other stuff?

August applications are under consideration at the moment.
If no news from CIC as at Nov.20, 2014, this shows your application wasn’t successful
and you must have received your returned application by now. You should reapply,
if NOC is not capped or start preparing for Express Entry, Jan 2015.
CC Charging almost over and a lot of DD encashment still outstanding. PER-Issuance started but very low.

September Applicants
Currently,applications are in the active stage
If application is unsuccessful as at Nov., 20 2014, your returned application is on the way from CIC and be ready to reapply,
if NOC is not capped or start preparing for Express Entry, Jan 2015.
CC Charging started 20/11/14, DD encashment outstanding. PER-No issuance for now.

October Applicants
Completeness check is currently going on now and this takes about 3-4 weeks in which charging starts after the completeness checks.
No cases of CC charging, DD encashment and PER for now.
Fee deduction likely start date could be 18/12/2014 or 22/12/2014 believing the weather condition is fairly good.

Note: Please check your spam/junk mail, the vital email (PER) from CIC might be there.
