Hi, two documents of importance here are your passports which should have at least 6 months validity on them and your PCC which may be requested again for every member of your family above 18 years old.Jamezo78 said:Hello forumite,
I receive the below mail from AVO after sending my RPRF which I paid on my own.
My question is what did AVO mean by
1. You will be contacted shortly
2. Documents should not expire in 6 months.
Thanks
Dear Sir/Madam,
The information you provided has been updated in our system. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.
Please be advised that no further action is required of you at this time. If additional documents are needed, an officer will be in touch with you shortly. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within six (6) months as this could delay your application.
We appreciate your patience and keeping correspondence with our office to a minimum and up to date. In order to process request efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.
Regards,
Please review your passports to ensure they will still be valid for the next 6 months, if not renew them now. We have had a case where someone only realised one of the family member's passport was due to expire in 5 months only when he got PPR. As for PCC, no need to get it now but just be ready to get a new one at short notice. All the best.
