I think Alberta, Saskechewan & Ontario have bank holidays on Monday ( Family Day)
I hope it won't affect the visa offices as it is not national.
Hopefully, the VO works on Monday.

This week, we shall see updates of PPR and MR in multiple like never before. The Almighty God himself will grant AVO and IRCC the speed required. Stay positive people and see the salvation of The Lord. Have a blissful week ahead.

If I do request for GCMS and i discover they have concern about a document or detail i submitted, can i send some more documents to clarify or correct the concerned information or do I wait for them to contact me on the issue?

If you order your GCMS notes and see any concern raised by the Visa officer, you can respond to them if you have the information without them asking you.

abionah, the purpose of GCMS is to know the status of your applcation, if you noticed any anomaly, discrepancy or any concern whatsoever, you can correct it with facts. Depending on the volume of supporting document, you can send hard copies through courier referring to your applicant details ( UCI), Name , DOB) or through CSE. But dont forget to refer to the concerns in the GCMS that you are correcting for the purpose of clarity. Please, do not wait for them to contact you, it will amount to waste of time.....moreso no one knows when they will resume updates. Wish you the best.

Please on behalf of a friend of mine I also have a question as regards GCMS notes. He had waited for PPR since May 2015 and he then decided to request a GCMS note. However, he got the PPR the day after he ordered the GCMS notes (Feb 11th 2016). The question is will the GCMS notes ordered affect him in anyway? and is there a reason for him to cancel the GCMS?...if yes, how can he go about this?....many thanks

GCMS note does not in any way affect the processing of his application. It will rather gives him a guide on the Visa Officer's concern, if any.

I also seem not to understand your post above. You said he is waiting for PPR since May 2015, but got his MR the date after he ordered the note (Feb. 11, 2016). Please clarify.

He does not need to cancel the request for his notes since he has paid. The notes provides info about his application. When will his medical expire?
