I am yet to get an update on my ecas after my medicals. Is there any cause for alarm?

By the way, What is it with these delay for PPR?

Seems CIC don shift attention to EE now with the way PPR dey shower for EE applicants for some other threads in the last 2-3 days.

Does it mean they don't conduct background/security checks for EE applicants?

To be realistic, it just seems Accra has abandoned us. For the length of this process, there has not been a void in communication like this. If I am right, samuel was d last forumite to get PPR, he's even got his visa, and no PPR has been issued since his .infact all euphoria don evaporate sef. We need to start raising CSE, at least they will know we still exist.

I am also a Dec 1st applican, feb 19th per to. We r together. No word. I thought it was only me cos i know Dec 14th sef don recieve, but when i saw sm1 in Oct is yet to recieve, i am hopeful all will go well with us all. Worse part it i may be travelling soon for four months. It will be sad that they now send MR or request things i cant do within that time

lets just pray it comes soonest.

Re: is there a passport receipt acknowledgement by AVO

Hello All,

I have a question and would appreciate it if anyone could answer. I sent my passport to the AVO about 5 weeks ago; though one of the outstanding doc is my FBI Clearance which won't be ready for another 5 or 6 weeks at the earliest, I believe my case would not be handled before that time. Does the AVO not acknowledge in any way or manner that passports have been received? Will my application be moved to the back of the queue ( if there's even a queue) when the FBI clearance is finally received? I'm sure my passport has reached the AVO because I tracked the package on the DHL website.

Any comments or suggestions would be indeed helpful. Also, I may need withdraw my passport for the trip, does anyone know if this will influence or delay their decision?

Are you EE or fswp 2014? They should have received it, but you can email them if you want to confirm. I have a similar issue in that my FBI report is outstanding and wont be out till december. So they actually requested for your passport even when the report isnt out. you never can tell, anything is possible, they can waive that. I actually applied last year while in naija with naija PCC and i moved to the US. They recently sent me MR and additional info request of which FBI clearance is part of it..I will send you a pm..check your inbox

Landded safely at Toronto yesterday, good flight and the immigration process was so simple and easy, only asked me my job, if i have ever been refuse visa to canada before and the amount with me . He wrote the amount with me in my COPR as was carrying more than $10k

Custom, no question at all, just declared my money and within 30min i was out

I recently raised a CSE making an inquiry from AVO if I could send in my PCC since they didn't request for it with MR. I got a response today to go ahead with the submission.

Do I send AVO scanned copies by email or I would have to send it via courier to Accra?

I'm considering the cost implication in case AVO requests for additional docs (Updated POF, Updated Schedule A, Receipts for paypent of RPRF etc).
