For those expecting response on their updates, from my careful observations on the filing of parcels when received at avo mailing room then to the respective Immigration Officers, what I observed is that Immigration Officers attend to this parcels on Last In First Out (LIFO) basis. This might be as a result of the arrangement of the packages on the Case Officers unit while giving attention to other assigned responsibility. The Officer, on resumption to attend to the updates parcels awaiting attention, she/he might start from the top down till the arrangement is exhausted (my assumption). So do not be worry much when someone who submitted updates after you go a response before you. It happens and it does mean your update has any challenge. Additionally, updates are treated on case by case basis. As such, let's try to be detailed (EXPLANATION AND PROOFS) in our responses to update request to the Immigration Officers. They are like Internal Control Officer (ICU).and as such makes our case and their work easier.
Concerning crashing FD (those expecting MR) into salary or other account as against update request per adventure, I would advise we desist from this act because FD still stand as the best form of POF for immigration project and appears to be the easiest because it gives the Immigration Officer and idea of the applicant creating an unencumbered investment for the settlement plan. And if we decide to crash the FD, please be ready to explain more when the need arise. (My view).
