Hello people,
A friend of mine needs some advice,he was sent his medicals over 2 weeks ago but the mails for himself,spouse and child had no attachments to it.
He has raised a CSE over 10 working days ago and tried calling Accra variously without any response.
What do we advice he does,he says on one forum he was advised to go through the upfront medical route,but i am not sure if that will fly
Abeg suggestions please as he is getting very worried.

To God be the glory,COPR and visa for my family arrived this morning at 10.18am,i give God almighty all adoration,honour and praise for this eventful journey that started August 27th 2014 and a first timer for this Canada dream.God is a God of possibility.My application from start to finish was smooth..never had cause to send any updated document(POF,PCC,Generic form,Schedule A background form) to Accra..my only response to Accra was passport request.Na only God.

I thank Oga PH,Kollins,KSA baba,Balobabes,Samuel-Eled,Ebonnie,Dotsngr,GentleAndrew,ma Ig,Technolee lelelelisco,Subsidy my man...Calgarychic,General MZ Johnson my personal person,Tbaba....Deebruv stand firm i can see it coming.and all others for all the support and brotherly love here.It has ended in praise.And to all our forum members waiting...remain steadfast it shall all end in praise.Canada will bless us real good.

Hello

I'm a junior in the house but here is what I know about Sputum test and I hope it helps.

Based on my profession, the only reason(s) why I think a client would be asked to do a sputum test is to rule out Tuberculosis or if there is a +ve history of TB.. and if positive, the client will be required to go through the standard treatment before visa issued.

Or if chest xray reveal signs of previous TB or pneumonia

If disease is still active ---> get treated --> get visa

Sputum test could take up to 4week.

Sputum test might even grow nothing and come out negative.

Worst case scenario TB could take up to 6 months to treat.

In the end, Visa go still land so dont worry ;D ;D ;D

He can contact one of the medical facilities, they may be able to retrieve their forms.

Congratulations to all u guys having your visa delivered. But una don know say your visa is sure after PPR na. Abi UPS or DHL wan steal the visa Ni? Please help us PPR aspirants and MR appeal to Accra o. Especially PPR, cod it seems PPR Issuance has seized for some weeks now.

What's ticket prices saying now? Abi na to book young shall grow to Canada ni?

With absolute confirmation, you can carry any amount in cash across US and Canada as long as it is declared to the custom

I carried well over the required landing POF as cash on me and travelled on emirate through US and there wasnt any issue... JUST DECLARE TO THE CUSTOM.

I also asked the custom officer was the maximum is and she said you can carry as high as 100K as cash but just declare and that landing immigrants are not that drilled for reason and source of fund.

However, to better explain to anybody both locally in Nigeria and other countries, I printed the POF page on CIC stating the MINIMUM cash required and the CBN publication on ban on electronic FOREX transfers.

If passing through dubai, you are only required to declare ammount above 30K USD.

My advise, do no depend on our nigerian bank card... they have extreme high exchange rate and had an experience where my wife card was said to be stolen when I tried using it in Dubai.

PLEASE TAKE ALL YOUR CASH WITH YOU IN USD..... NO NAIRA MASTER OR VISA CARD... You surely do not want to erode that small cash to the P&L of our naija banks

HI chattery, from my little experience, there should be an additional sentence to the mail see excerpt "Please find information concerning your application in the attached document. If you are unable to view the attached document or did not receive a document, please advise us by forwarding this e-mail to......" if he has that, I will advice him to use the link or send a mail accraimmigration@international.gc.ca. I hope the email is correct. Able seniors will advise further. It is well.

Hi Chattery, my own experience was similar, I my case we didn't get any mail, I saw the medical request update on my ecas platform, tried calling Accra dey didn't pick as usual, called CIC found out that I still had email issue with them. I was advice by a member of dis forum to go ahead and do the medicals with my family.

Got to IOM in Ikeja GRA the next morning, one of the ladies dere told us that she can see our IEM numbers on the system for my family, but dere is a standing instruction concerning people dat don't come with dere medical forms sent by CIC,

So we ended up doing the medicals upfront that day, from what she told me dat dere was no difference coz dey generated temporary numbers for my family and sent the medical result days later to CIC through E-medical.

Want to dere office today to confirm if dey already sent the result coz we were a bit worried , we have not had back from Accra regarding the medical. One of the girls told me not to worry and she printed the E-medical information sheet showing that our result has been submitted 2days after we had the test.

I am just hoping and praying that Accra will get back to us with our PPR soonest.

I hope my experience will guide ur friend on decision to take, waiting for Accra can be stressful, my advice go for the test, scan the E-medical information sheet and send it to Accra through dis email: accra.immigration@international.gc.ca telling them the reason why he had to do the test up front.
