There's been a report that one Dec22 applicant received an email from CIC saying his docs are returned due to cap filled. Now, I dont want to believe this but he has a screenshot of the said email. Anybody from our whatsapp group can confirm the report. Although we are tryjng to disprove it. I request everybody who has info of charging/email/call from cic to share it. Especially from december applicants. The email did not state when it was capped. Just that his app is returned on Feb 11.

I checked on the official CIC webpage where they showed how much of the total cap has been filled per NOC, however i can no longer access that page, probably due to Express Entry starting this year.

I have, however, managed to find the same statistics from the Canadavisa.com page, and even though that is also not appearing in tabular form, you can see the applications for 2133 are 519 as of Jan 1st 2015.

Approx. time for PER aft application received is 3-4 months. So we better wait till then.

the Colombo VO's official processing time as per CIC site is 12 months much better compared to NDVO and processing time based on FSW 2014 applicant time line is 7 months better relative to 8 months of NDVO....

Any september'14 applicants who have received notification from NDVO? AOR or MR or any kind of correspondence? Its strange applicants later than Sep'14 are already hearing from other VOs.

Don't think there's anything to worry yet, NDVO typically doesn't send out AORs (as inferred from this group's previous correspondence & Global SS). I sent an enquiry email last week to them anyway, though I doubt they will respond right away. I am counting on a time of line of around 60 days from PER to hear back from them. So that should be around 1st-2nd week of march.
