I have a son of 7 years age. He is a case of Cerebral Palsy.
Is there any chance of getting PR for my family ?
I have gone through CIC website, they say 'cause excessive demands on health or social services' are not to be issued PR.
any thoughts regarding this ?

U are an early bird applicant bro...

Where have u been for this long time?

Can u please share ur country of nationality and the destination Canada?

Spreadsheet updated...:)

Actually i dont have any idea about the cause mentioned...Hope for the best...

Dear Ashif bhai & others,

Yes, I am new in this blog. I did not know about it. I am from Bangladesh and my destination is Edmonton, Alberta.
I mentioned my son's health condition in the application. That means they know everything. So they should not have accepted my application due to the inadmissibility issue. My lawyer and other people say I have a 5 % chance of getting PR. They will probably reject my application after medical :(

any way, pls explain me how to update spread sheet ? I can not write anything there........

also brief me the GCMS. How to avail it ?

How can I get the update as some mentioned 'waiting for final review'? where to ask and who will ask ? me or my lawyer ?
............

what documents are to be uploaded for Case Specific Enquiry ?

If I do my enquiry myself then 'Enquirer Information' is not necessary, right ?

would you please give a sample that I should write in the Enquiry box ?

If I ask for a GCMS by my frnd what are the infos that I should provide him ?

How long GCMS takes ?

Dear Brother,

Just go through the link...(I guess u have not gone that yet... :P)...Its very easy...no docs are required...

Here is the query I did:

'Dear Sir,

I have applied on 10th May 2013. After 23rd Aug 2013 i did not hear anything from Singapore VO. May i know what is the current status of my file?

Since CIC promised before the opening of FSW 2013 that files will be processed within one year. Can i ask you respectfully when should I expect some news from Singapore Visa office?'

U will need to send the consent form signature scanned copy...Also ur app details...Please check the first link of GCMS (already given)...

Thank You :)

With the advice and help of Ashif I had send CSE to SGVO last month and I got reply yesterday.....

"Your file is in the queue to be reviewed by an officer. Once a decision is made, we will contact you for the next step of processing.

We hope this information will be of assistance. "

What a diplomatic answer!!!!!!!

Wow, it seems that is a good news?! I guess that "to be reviewed by an officer" will be after "awaiting final review", is it correct?

Confused!!! before or after final review?? As per my knowledge a VO review a file twice. one in initial review and another is final review. So by this answer I am bit confused is it initial review or final review?

So that means his application is waiting for initial review?

I am thinking about GCMS. Anyone in this thread has recently received GCMS notes? Please share us!!!!!

It can be both---Initial/Final Review....This type of reply are given from London...

Applicants who are waiting even for passport(after medical and RPRF) found this reply from London...

This reply has started from SGVO from this month...One of MI-2 SGVO applicant has also rcvd the same one on 19 th May 14....

But in my guess its a review that is required on last phase...that they want to indicate....

Lets wait if they reply again like us to any other applicant furthermore..(awaiting for final Review)...

@kmkamal

It should be initial review if your file is still in RBVO stage dont worry if they said its waiting review then in the next few days/weeks you file will be in-process just like what happened to ours. After we request for file update last feb they replied end of march that its waiting initial review from officer then 1 may our ecas change to in-process just dont know when theyre sending the med request, rprf, ppr will come hopefully in the next few days.

Good luck to us all.

Hi bro,

My file is currently in a queue awaiting final review. How long does it take to get the medical and passport request?

Thanks.

so far I've seen it ranges and takes 3days(shortest) to 45days (longest) from in-process to medical request. some it goes hand in hand when they request for medical + PPR + RPRF and some only medical + RPRF then PPR will follow after a couple of days/weeks/months.........

lets wait for the processing time update as its due for the 1st Q of 2014........ hopefully they will speed up the process!!!!

funny things is when SGVO replied to our email they indicated that they process according to the date in which the application been received by their office which I don't think its true since I know 2 of whom who submitted after us and just last year they all in Canada!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr >:( >:( >:( >:( and saying that it will depend on the quota plus the new application received in their office....... nothing else we can do but wait for them.

good luck to all of us....... may God grant the desires of our hearts and enlighten SGVO officers processing our file to approve all our applications.
