If in case she leaves SG and she still doesn't get the COC request from SGVO, then perhaps you may try inquiring through the SG embassy in your country on how to acquire the police clearance.tomsware said:thanks ! that's exactly is my point .... once she leave SP, in a month, it would be much more costly and time consuming to get PCC ...
which document do i need to show? i dont have any document to show except some emails from CIC and my wife's name is not there at all, naturally.
Most likely SG Police might ask you to submit the same requirements as the Singaporeans who are not living in Singapore. Here's an excerpt from the link that I sent you.
"If you live outside Singapore
Applicants residing overseas should submit their applications, including all of the supporting documents listed above, by mail to:
Head Criminal Records,
CID (COC Office)
Blk D Police Cantonment Complex
#02-07/08
391 New Bridge Road
Singapore 088762
E-mail: SPF_CID_COC@spf.gov.sg
Website: www.spf.gov.sg "
More so, you may also send an e-mail to: SPF_CID_COC@spf.gov.sg to ask further details and clarification of steps.
