Hi All,
So I sent an email to Alliance to ascertain if IAP is mandatory or not.
I will quote what I sent to them:
Dear Alliance,
I have done my Bachelors in Physiotherapy in India from College of Physiotherapy in Kerala. I completed my graduation in the year 2005.
After my graduation, I completed internship and then I began working in private hospitals and clinics.
I would like you to know that,
I have not enrolled for any membership for Indian Association of Physiotherapist.
In India, I am not aware of any regulatory body that can give me a no objection certificate or a good standing certificate.
Can you please let me know if any of the aforementioned documents are mandatory for credentialling?
Please note that I meet all the other per-requisites for credentialling.
Regards,
Sinestra77
The response I got is:
Dear Sinestra77,
Thank you for your message; it was forwarded to me for response.
We no longer require Credentialling applicants to be registered to practice in their home country.
You are not required to submit an documents regarding registration.
I hope this information is helpful for you. Please contact me if you have any additional questions.
