FSW 2013 - NOC 2174 (Computer Programmers and media develpers) LETS CONNECT HERE

Hi Friends,

My education is BCOM (Bechelor's in commerce) and I have also done 1 year computer course called Ecomm from aptech and have few certification in computer programming. My 10 years work experience is in computer programming. so as per experience I should fall in 2174 NOC but my Education doesnt match for this NOC. Can someone please reply ....can I apply for 2174?

Hi, my NOC is also 2174, just read the previous posts in this thread. I still doubt that it will take 1 month to fill 2174, its a very high demand NOC, it might be filled in 1 week or so. Someone mentioned that the way CIC works, it will take 4 months to fill, could anyone clarify this point?

It will be a miracle if it goes beyond the count update at cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp near the end of the first week.

yes aditya..it will be miracle..but i dont think there will be huge count..

CIC has advise not to dispatch any ECS for FSW candidate upto 7 th of may.

My NOC 2171 , Doc received by WES on 25 April
Current status , evaluation in progress and extimated completion is 15 May.

Yes I guess it will be over in first week. Remember CIC counts "Completed" applications and not the ones that are returned.

have a bachelors degree (BCA) 3 years
IELTS completed
Adaptability point
Age 25

Documents received by wes on 1 may... paid for RUSh service later ... report will complete on 10 may ....

i m a single applicant.

For funds i m Showing bank statements of one month with bank stamp and signature.(HDFC AND SBI) + copies of 2 FDs 2 lac and 50k each(SBI).

I have a query regarding Demand Draft of $550.

Indian banks provide Demand Drafts with 3 months validity only... any suggestions will be welcomed

i have talked to the manager of HDFC, he said "As per RBI norms all DD's are valid for 3 months only".

Documents checklist for single applicant :-

*Education documents (Got Colored Copies of Bachelors degree and mark sheets, 10th and 12th marksheets and certificates NOTARIZED).
*Work Exp. (copies of Letter of Reference with HR business card. NOTARIZED).
*Age (colored copy of birth certificate. NOTARIZED).
*Travel Document(colored copy of Passport. NOTARIZED).
*Photos(6 Pics as per cic norms with name and birthdate written on back).
*Address labels (2 sticky labels with my address printed on it.) (I did it myself printing and other stuff )
*Envelop (As per cic norms )
*Funds Proof (one month Bank statements with bank stamp and signature and copies of 2 fd's with stamp and signature by bank).
* IELTS (Original )
* WES report(waiting for it may be get it till next week).
*$550 (Demand Draft)
*FSW 2013 FORMS(printed on bond paper)
