the wes doesnt accept the attested transcipts from college if the college is not AUToNOMOUS.

So please make a note of it. i hope it helps.

I guess most of the guys applying in 2174 are from technical board, which are affiliated from university. unless colleges are deemed colleges. So no worries.

I am a Computer Programmer. IELTS slot is available only in June 2nd week. By the time I get the results, it will be July.

Do you think, the CAP or Quota would be available till July, 2013?

I have sent my degree certificates copies along with sealed envelope containing Transcripts . My noc will come under 2174 computer programmers.

Did you send the Transcript request form as well? I live in the US and do not have that form filled in by the university. Is it OK if I just send the attested copies in university sealed envelopes? Pls let me know dude.

Even though university is UGC approved

WES mentioned it non-recognized institution.. what will happen now? Should i apply or not?

This so so frustrating, am in the US, I called up WES to expedite to RUSH - Same Day, they did it and added an additional charge of 150$ . in addition to the 200$ , now i don't know why they addedand whether I should pay or not, my file has gone on hold!!, would have to call them again, means again waiting for 60 mins on the phone!! . They are seriously gonna be millionaires in two weeks.

Wonder why I applied for this messy canadian PR......

I qualify under computer engineer with experience 8 years in this field (i have Job responsibilities on letterhead from my companies)
I have done MSc (CS) from Sikkim Manipal BUT
In Educational assessment from WES, i am Bachelors in Commerce only coz WES have mentioned MSc from SMU as non-recognized institute.


Can i still qualify based on my experience in computer hardware?? Will CIC consider my EA?

Calculate ur points based on bachelors. If its reaching 67, its fine

I'm willing to apply for the 2013 fsw in may but i have to take the ielts exam first, my bachelor degree is information technology from a university in canada, but its campus where i studied is in cairo, will i be able to submit it without getting an educational assesment as it's from a canadian university

I have never seen anywhere on CIC that your job profile should be based on your edu qualifications. They just need the Canadian equivalency of your degree courses.
So, you should be good.

Employment requirements

A bachelor's degree in computer science or in another discipline with a significant programming component
or
Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.
Specialization in programming for engineering and scientific applications requires specific post-secondary study or experience.

Its written Engineering or some computer education degree is required.

But as my computer science degree institute is non recognized by WES and i am left bachelor of commerce now..should thisaffect my file? Can i submit file?
Please note i have 7 years+ of conmputer network experience..can i apply keeping in view above?
