I have applied for FSW in NOC 2132 file received on 30th may and cc was charged on 16th sept but PER mail not received yet.
What is the time line for PER mail.

It takes around week to 10 days max to recieve PPR2

No one can exactly comment on time as it largely matters on country, noc, experience and complexity of the application. Once you get PER and in the run, dates among different individuals keep changing. You need to keep in touch on this forum and keep looking as when are other peoples getting MR, who have PER dates closer to yours.

I saw most of the jobs require Registered as a professional Engineer with APEGA. But we are Indians we won't get that registration until we go and write exams. Without this registration are we able to get jobs? I am about apply for PR, your guidance ll help me to proceed further. Please do the needful. Thank you very much.

Firstly, all the best for your applications as you would surely need it for the new type of application through EXPRESS ENTRY or which can be also called as SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST.

I am at present in Calgary and landed here on 25th Nov 2014.
Yet to get a job.
However, it is not because of not having PEng, it's because of the present crude prices. The job market is really bad but rest assured it won't be the same always and it will see daylight pretty soon.
U can get jobs without PEng but this won't be a free hand engineering job. U need to work under a professional engineer and then u would be able to get a job or you can work as a construction supervisor where u don't need PEng license.

There are many options open.

Be ready to take up any job, there is nothing small Or big here.
Check online and update ur resume as per Canadian format - Simple way.

Get the details from ur university, required for applying for PEng, before u reach Canada - Trust me, it will help.
Don't assume u will get a job immediately once u lands here... There r lots of jobs, but remember, there r lots of candidates as well.

Please guide on below queries for FSW under mechanical engineer NOC (2132);

1) I am bsc mechanical engineer and my experience is as EPC planning engineer in construction and services of oil,gas,mining and other plants.Can i use my job title of Planning Engineer to apply under mechanical engineer as my JD and qualification is mechanical engineering ? I mean is it okay being a title of planning engineer on experience letter ?

2) My employer is not providing job responsibilities on experience letter.Now please share what to do ?
3) One of my previous company has closed operations and so now i cannot job responsibilities.Guide how to tackle this issue ?

Hi Guys,
Am really confused about my NOC(2132/2141).

Given below are my work responsibilities :

· Design and documentation of atmoshperic storage tanks as per API 650.
· Develop 3D piping layout for process plants.
· Stress analysis of critical pipe lines in process plants using CAESAR II software.
· Develop piping isometrics and plant general arrangment drawings.
· Hydraulic design and pressure drop calculation of pumping circuits.
· Process pipe thickness calculation as per ASME B31.3 & ASME B31.8.
· Preparing P&IDs for process plants and for metering skids.

Preparation of piping material specification for process industries
Can someone pls throw some light...

Hi all

I am an Mech engineering degree holder having 7yrs exp in plastic product design in the automotive domain using CAD tools.
Can any one help me out to clear my doubts?
1. What will be my NOC?
2. If my NOC is on B skill type whether if affects my express entry selection or any of the process?
3. Whats the difference between skill type A and B?.

Still I am in the EE stage. Please help anyone abt this queries.
