A. PER stands for Positive Eligibility Review. It means that a Visa Officer at CIO concluded that you are eligible for further processing at Local / Remote Visa Office towards getting Permanent Residence (PR).

Probably it is not until 4th May, only cic knows the exact date.

I am holding a UK Mechanical Engineering degree but an Indian citizen. I want to do a pg diploma course in either George Brown college or in Niagra college in Finance or International business. What are my chances to get a skilled job after doing pg diploma on the above courses and later getting PR?

so whats the chance if i file by end august'13.
i have my ielts and eca done...jus waiting for the cash to come...

i understand ppl who hav sent in may/june,there cc or dd are been charged since few days..
my question is...by the time i file...will the cap be filled.,ie 300...

i wil be filing in the 1st week of AUGUST .

what do you think ,wt are my chances of the application getting accepted ????

I suggest that u need to have God Speed.
Don't sit on, send as soon as possible and hope for the best.
U also need to check as still there are very few in Mechanical Engineers Category - a good sign

Mechanical Engineers Category is still low.
U need to keep a close eye on whats happening.
keep check on Caps
