Yes last date is Jan 2015 (As of May 1, 2014, there is an overall cap of 25,500 for new federal skilled worker applications. This includes a cap of 500 applications from PhD students. There are also sub-caps of 1,000 for each of the 50 eligible occupations. The caps do not affect people with a valid job offer. These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015. )

if you apply after last date it will be retuened, fee will not be encased (refund)

Is there any last date for visa application for FSW?

What happens if we have applied for visa after the closing date.

1.Will they retain all the documents with them for processing the next year or they will return all the documents to us?
2.The fees paid will be refunded ?

You can make affidavit and provide all supporting documents like offer letter, payslips etc and provide affidavit

Include 10th Certificate as well. Passing certificate is also given after 10th and 12th include that to please. On safer side, attach all of your mark sheets of engineering too. Rest of the things are fine. All the best.

2. Certificate can be how long old, i mean i will get as on 23-06-2014 and intend to apply by 23rd July 2016, so will that be ok
3. Can i use foreign account to support my proof of funds? (I have account in UAE and i am planing to apply from new delhi)

1) yes bank certificate is enough (it should contain your full name, account number and available fund)
2) 1-2 month old I didnt think there is any problem
3) you can show foreign account (1) it should be on your name (2) you need to show yuour presence there in past/currently

Please help! Bit complex!

I have applied to FSW in the month of MAY/JUNE.

there are 2 applicants in my file, me & my wife.

My wife's passport carries her maiden name before marriage, and we did not change her name as just after marriage we applied for Quebec visa as well. And now for FSW.

So there was no time for us to change the name of my wife as even the passport with new changed name takes minimum 1 month and we were in hurry.

Now my question is, now i have the time.

1) How I can change the name of my wife in her application? Because i want my wife should carry the PR card with her changed name after marriage.

2) As my application is under processing, for changing the name, now can i make the changes in her passport for change in name?

Experts please help!!!
