i AM landing on 17th May

Do we require a Police Clearence Stamp on the Passport when we land in canada for the first time?

Hi Friends,

Today I had seen ecas status updated to Decision Made. It happened just after 10 days of medical results, RPRF, passports sent.

Following are entries in ecas.

1.We received your application for permanent residence on ..


2.We started processing your application on February ...


3.Medical results have been received.


4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Any idea what the decision was made? Do I need to wait till the passports received?
Am a bit tensed... Seniors or for whom Decision Made.. Please ...

I saw DM on March 14. still not yet received passports...

I want to apply for FSW (Software Engineer) visa this year. I am trying to apply in my own as I felt consultancy fees are exorbitant. So, can someone in this forum give complete details about

- what documents to send?
- where to send the documents?
- Police certificate

I am reading official CICI website for all the details, but I am not sure whether my understanding is 100% or not! It will be greatly advantageous for me if you can provide a complete picture of this visa process.

Congratulations for all whose case status was DM and received passports with maple leaf...

As my DD got encashed, Finally I am thinking that i am going to see maple leaf on my passport..

Just a quick question for those who knows their DD enchased date...

My DD for PRPF got enchased ten days after status in ecas updated to DM.

14th March : DM (in ecas)
24th March: DD of PRPF got enchased..

Till now I did not received passports..

My question is when will the passport(s) will be dispatched? Either after DD encash or after ecas DM status update?

usually DM appears after DD encashed. PP will be released after DD encased or DM in ECAS which ever is later.

Ideally I too thinking the same.. DM in ecas should be updated after DD encashed.. But ICICI Customer care guys told that DD encahsed 24th March.. but I see DM in ecas from 14th March.. Oh god.. I donno what is happening to my case.. finger crossed till I see my passport(s)

apalli) in my spouse Passport visa stamping and COPR.. What to do now? Anybody faced the similar issue?

I am planning to send a query through mail to delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca saying the same.. wat else can

I do?

Yes, you should write VO immediately and get it corrected otherwise can be problem at landing. Could you please confirm the date of PP dispatch from NDVO and your location in india.

3rd line ecas update noticed on: March 25th, 2013
3.Medical results have been received.

Today: 4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Hope its a positive one, as I checked with my bank this morning and the DD was not yet encashed... Congrats to everyone who got DM and PP with the visa and Goodluck to the rest of us God Bless!

We did our medicals on March 5th and I saw it updated in ecas on March 22nd. (misquoted the date previously).
