they are checking our patience level.. NDVO is too much.. and not to forget now there is long list of public holidays so by any chance they nt gonna wrk :

A small doubt/query for all those who have received their MR..

Does VO ask for passport along with MR?

Asking since i would traveling abroad for 1 week..

Do i need to inform NDVO regarding my travel?

Also how many days do they give to complete our medicals and send them the Passports?

There is a movement of DM by NDVO since 2 days, in other forum of 2010/11..... Lets hope for the best...

actully what I observe in first 2 week of sept and last 2 week of august that there was movement of MR for previous applicants and at that time fsw2013 was getting AOR also (most of)

after that DM started and AOR reduces . . . . .
actully the student visa intake at canada is sept, jan and june so what I believe that now a days NDVO is busy with Jan intake student visa file (this is what i believe) so after jan student file (they may stop or reduce say before 2 months) is after oct.

than again NDVO may work on our file at top pick.

I am still not understanding how Adrenalineforu & Guruji-33 applicant of PER 23rd August got AOR leaving lot many applicant behind. also XOBX7's case

Well what you are saying is quite possible…

The deadline for filing Student Visa under SPP category for January intake is December 1st week and under general category is Dec 2nd week.

Now, earlier (read a coulpe of weeks ago) the pace of issuing student visa was very slow, and as soon as the strike got over, BAMMM !!, the students are now getting visa in 7-10 days, even people reported getting visa in 3 days !!

I know this because one of my friend is appying for student visa, and he we usually talk about how it goes n time frame involved.

So its seems like NDVO has shifted all its staff for process student visa !!

again student visa is time oriented and getting fund to CANADA as compare to FSW so priority is the same

i have applied for PR under fsw ( mechanical engineer). i want to know the exact status of my file whether file is received in nova scotia or not
i send my file on 26-Aug-13

one more thing i want to know as per requirement i have to submit the birth certificate as i born in village. there is no birth certificate available so i have attached affiliated that i will provide when i get file no and i have applied in mean time and i get it from place where i born .Birth certificate of my wife is with file i have sent to nova scotia

sir my concern is do they hold my file due to non availability of birth certificate

regarding your 2nd question, what have u submitted in-lieu of your birth certificate? like 10th marksheet etc.?? CIC will only accept your 10th marksheet as substitute of BC if it contains names of both your parents (ofcourse including you DOB).

Since you have filed an affidavit of your birth certificate, i am not sure how CIC gonna take that, since they are not consistent with this thing. All i can say is as soon as you get your BC, mail it to CIC immediately and hope for the best !!!

first of all call CIC on this 001-613-944-4000 and ask them status update of ur file..

secondly what does it mean u attached affiliated?.. did u provide ur birth certificate or not? or any affidavit ?
