But as per the link they say there are changes in the FSWP 2013 process...For example the Background checks. The Link says that all the screening is already done at the CIC level and then you get the PER. Is that correct?

yes screening is done by CIC.. which means they make sure that u have submitted all the docs that are listed on check list

but wen the file gets to local visa office, it is the duty of visa office to verify the authentication of those docs..

Then what is the role of WES in this case if the authentication is done by NDVO?

I understand they assess only the Educational certificates. But would they do the Authentication as well or just check the level of education compared to Canadian Education.

yes that's what they do.. they chk authentication by ways that UNI is sending transcripts to them
rest the evaluation part is that they compare studies equivalency to Canadian standards

It took around 3 years for them for the entire process... but then things got changed...

Last year also a friend of mine got his PR in < 12 months.. and his younger brother got his PR in 8 months from NDVO..

lets hope MR rain begins for us as well...

i went to the Max centre for Medical requests (for AUstralia PR) 2 months back and there were quite a few applicants for Canada as well..
