Though this is a deserted place, I would like to share my journey for PR....if anyone benefits from my experience i would be glad. I applied in august 2013 and got my PER in Feb. I was waiting till Jan mid and then I raised CSE in jan, they responded in a weeks time sending me PER number and medical, RPRF, passport request in that.....by that time marriage was on rocks and I had to apply for divorce. I did the medicals, paid the rprf and submitted my pasSPORT. along with that i intimated that i am undergoing a divorce procedure which may take me another 6 months time. they gave me time to submit the documents and in between i included my daughter as accompanying dependent as my family situation has changed dramatically. i submitted the divorce papers and child custody in november 2014 and waited for the response. I did not get a proper reply for my CSE THAT I STARTED TO RAISE FROM JAN 2015. I WAS BREAKING DOWN BY THAT TIME AND AN IMMIGRATION WAS MORE THAN A NECESSITY FOR ME. AS I DID NOT GET ANY REPLY I APPLIED FOR GCMS IN AUGUST 2015 AND IN THAT I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THAT THEY HAVE BEEN SENDING ME REGULAR EMAILS, BUT TO THE WRONG EMAIL ID. I IMMEDIATELY INTIMATED THEM REGARDING THAT AND AFTER THAT IT WAS SMOOTH. I GOT MY REMEDICALS DONE ON NOVEMBER 6, 2015 GOT DECISION MADE ON 23 NOVEMBER. THEN AGAIN THE ETERNAL WAIT FOR THE PASSPORT REQUEST. ANOTHER LINE UPDATED AS THEY HAVE SENT A MAIL ON DEC 23, BUT I DID NOT RECEIVE IT TILL JAN MID 2016. I RAISED A CSE IN JAN MID AND THEY RESPONDED WITH A PPR.....I SUBMITTED THE PASSPORT IN CHENNAI VFS ON 25 JAN 2016 AND GOT THE PASSPORTS BACK WITH VISA STAMP ON 30TH JAN. THE LAST LETTER OF MY NAME IS MISSING IN MY VISA, AND THOUGHT IT IS A GRAVE MISTAKE, BUT IN THE ACCOMPANYING LETTER THEY STATES CLEARLY THAT IT HAPPENS WITH LENGTHY NAMES AND PLACE OF BIRTH......BETTER THINKING ABOUT CHANGING MY NAME WHEN APPLYING FOR PR CARD IN CANADA....NEW LAND IN A NEW NAME.....WISH ME GREAT LIFE AHEAD BUDDIES....THANKYOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORTS FROM THE FORUM....LOVE YOU ALL....LET EVERYONE BE HAPPY
