I am wondering if there is anyone here who is planning to land in Ottawa. I have heard great things about Ottawa so thinking of making it as my second home. In the most recent survey in Money Magazine, Ottawa has been ranked as the 2nd best city to live in Canada.

When i will receive PPR. I am really getting worried since my DM on 26 May 2015. Where as other people are getting PPR on same day of DM.

Please let me know. I really need your inputs. Why only my PPR is delayed.

I need some clarification on online RPRF payment .
I paid RPRF fee through online .After payment ,I got a payment receipt .In this receipt ,some additional information is asked .Do I need to fill up these information ?
1. Client Birth Date : My birth date ?
2. Client ID : what does it mean ??? File Number ?
3.Address :My present Address
4.Postal Code :
5.Area Code : What does it mean ? Same as postal code ?
6.Telephone No : I have mobile phone ,No telephone No

Please let me.I need your suggestion.

I copy receipt sample as below :

Payer Information - Renseignement de l'agent payeur
Name -
Nom Client date of birth- Date de naissance du client D-J M Y-A
Client ID -Identification du client
Address - Adresse
Postal Code - Code postal
Area Code -Ind. rég.( ) -
Telephone No. - No de téléphone


Please print two copies of this receipt, send one to Citizenship and Immigration Canada and keep one
for your records. Please also note that the payer's name on this receipt does not have to be the same

1. Client Birth Date : My birth date ? Principal Applicant's date of birth
2. Client ID : what does it mean ??? File Number ?- It's a 8 digit #- You must received it when you received-This # may be preceeded by letters UCI: XXXX-XXXX
3.Address :My present Address -Your present address
4.Postal Code : Zip code/postal code-
5.Area Code : What does it mean ? Same as postal code ? Phone area code- e.g. different cities have different area codes-If you only mobile # then you may not need area code as some countries do not have area code for mobile phones
6.Telephone No : I have mobile phone ,No telephone No - mobile phone # will suffice

Please let me.I need your suggestion.

I guess PPR is computer generated so you never know they may ask you for PP again. To be on the safe side you may send an email to NDVO reminding them that they already have your passport. So you may ask them if there is anything else pending from your side.

but to be fact yesterday i again got pp request.
and i send them all their emails and a courier copy and explanation letter to them.
Now lets see what happens.

They demanding marriage certificate, I sent the same but the day my docs reached, got a mail to send certified copy of marriage certificate.

As per my information certified means certificate issuing authority only certified the same.

Please correct if I'm wrong.

Yesterday I sent the certified marriage certificate with cover letter.

Please reply, when I'll get reply from them.

Medical Details

My brother is going to attend medical on monday i have few points which i need your views

He was suffering from Depression, and currently going through medical treatment. although he is perfect now and doesn't have sign of depression at all.

Doctor have asked time to continue medicine for next few months, My point here is does it going to effect his case.....
