Just received my CPR (dated: January 23, 2015)!!!!

One question: The letter included with the CPR says, "We have now issued and enclosed your immigrant visa(s) along with a CPR". I am assuming that no "visa" was included with the CPR documents because I am from a visa-exempt country? Will they send me a permanent resident card after I cross the border with my CPR docs and U.S. passport for the first time?

A bit unclear about the next step (not explained in the letter at all)....

Good luck to you all. What a process... eh... ?

Hi All,
Finally I received medical request and RRPF request today. It has been a long journey. Got file returned couple of times and then finally it was accepted. All was going well up until Immigration had doubt on authenticity of my work experience. They gave me 30 days to reply back otherwise I was going to be banned for entry in Canada for 5 years. I submitted my clarification and finally today got this email I have been waiting for long time.

I hope no more delays as I believe they have done all back ground checks etc. Does anyone know if I can still expect interview? As I mentioned above I think all my background checks have already been completed.

I did receive lots of valuable information from this forum. So thanks for all the help! Please advise if you feel there could be anything that will help me further in expediting my application.

Good luck to you all too!

Immigration must have called one of my ex-employers where the front desk employee did not give my exact tenure with the employer. This made the immigration officer and hence CIC sent me an email questioning authenticity of all my work experience. I simply wrote an email in reply further reinstating authenticity of my work experience. Also I got another letter from my employer who kind of admitted their staff mistake and further reconfirmed my tenure with them.

I hope this help! Good luck

Hello officers,

I need your guidance,

LVO has requested my payslips from past employer. I had worked for two years with this employer, but LVO did not specify duration.

Now my question is " how many months payslip document am I suppose to send to them?

I would be waiting for response.

Thanks in advance.
