What NDVO doing ?????

Nothing for 2013 applicants :-\ :-\

i wonder to observe how people from 2010, 2011, 2013 are still sailing in processing 2015, all plans of individuals are disturbed jst cuz of delay by NDVO..though i am 2014, but looking at older people i dont even feel to raise my concern of delayed processing..i wish quicker processing for all of us.

My medical is expiring on March 14, my passport is with the HC, gave the landing fee, but asked for a last minute amendment to include my child as accompanying dependent.... getting tensed only one more month for my medical expiry...anyone who can throw light into what would be happening to my file. Can I expect my visa before March? Anyone with similar experinece? Tensed like never before

there is a 3 month deferral on medicalls - so u r ok and Visa officer is aware of this - ur case should be finalized within

only problem is u have to land before marc14 in canada so prepare in advance

good luck

Dear All,

Finally, it is the time to land in Toronto. I am not moving permanently this time and I just want to validate my PR visa and landing procedures (only for 1 week). However, I have couple of questions and I do really appreciate for your kind guidance:

1- For proof of fund, do I need to have the specified amount in cash? Is an Australian bank statement sufficient rather than taking cash? Or if I have to take cash with me, can I just take Australian cash to prevent loss of money in exchange?

2- In "Declaration card" which we need to fill it at the time of landing, I have the following questions:
2-1- What should I write as home address? The Australian one or the address that I want my PR card to be posted?
2-2- Purpose of trip? should I tick the "personal" one?
2-3- Since I am going just for 1 week, should I fill the "Visitors to Canada' or leave it blank?

3- I have heard that I need to fill some forms about the goods that I want to freight at a later time including gold and jewelry. What does it mean by jewelry? any type of them or they are looking for expensive ones?

4- I know that I should not show my intention about my short trip. What if they asked? can I just reply I came permanently? Will it be a problem not to say the right answer as I want the PR card application to be started?

Sorry for my long post.

Thanks.

Dear, Send an email stating clearly the URGENCY, Try to call VO too.
Otherwise, i dont foresee any issue, other than delays, but it was right decision to get included the kid at the right time. i have seen some members getting extensions in medicals.
worst max could be re-going through medicals if gets expired.

but u need to be packed standing as if they issue visa before expiry of medical, it would be having the same cut off date as your medicals, whch i personally think would be the case. so be ready to fly in shortest times.
good luck n cheers

The clinic will give you a receipt which you need to submit with other requested documents.

My visa is valid till 18th July 2015. I am planning to get married, should i get married before landing in Canada or I should do landing first get my PR card and get married after that? Which way is more convenient and time saving? I would appreciate if anyone can tell how long is the processing time in both cases?

Do a short landing (7 days or so).. get your pr activated.. return back.. get married... when ready sponsor your wife as a dependent... in this way u r in control.

otherwise you will have to marry.. apply for addition of spouse.. medical and security clearance for your wife... by that time your medical will xpire.. do medical again... so much hassle.. and on top of that you are not in control of your pr application.

Guramar,

If you have a genuine case, you can surely appeal the decision. What had they asked for in the procedural fairness letter?

This seems to be a unique case of verification of employment after PPR.

God bless...

Hi All,

My timeline is as follows (NDVO): Current Status on ECAS : IN PROCESS

We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2013.
We started processing your application on December 3, 2013.
Medical results have been received.

I got this 3rd line in DEC 2013 and it is now FEB 2015. No communication since then :( Most of the people I know with the same timeline have landed in Canada in 2014. Do I stand any chance of getting through? When can I expect some communication in this year?

Thanks and good luck to all...
