Hi all,

I posted this before but no one replied :(

I have submitted my medical and police certificate on 18th of August. I have seen some people here who submitted theirs later than me and received their pass request. I have two questions: 1) did you receive it by Email or through post; 2) how long do you think it might take max ?

I would appreciate for any response,

Kind regards,
Farhad

Buddy.. First of all sorry from all forum members for not answering this query earlier.

Normally this request is received by email. Different applicants have different timelines and there is no guarantee at which stage you get response earlier or at which stage you will get stuck. People who got PPR-1 later than me have even got their visas and I am still waiting for PPR-2 for more than a month now. So just relax and wait with faith.. Keep on checking your email on regular basis and also do check your spam email..

Good Luck mate!

Dear Admin

Med Done:- 02 Oct 14
PPR2:- 21 Oct 14
DM and PP submitted:- 23 Oct 14

Best of luck and heartiest best wishes for all forum mates
Best Regards

Dear Owais,

Thanks for your kind reply. May you tell me what is the difference between PPR-1 and PPR-2?

Regards,
Farhad

Dear Farhad
PPR-1 is request for copies of passport bio pages and updated information chart containing information about passports and height etc
PPR-2 is request for submission of original passports for visa issuance

Exactly.. PPR-1 is requested earlier and in this request your asked to submit scanned copies of your passport to be submitted via email along with other information as stated. Whereas PPR-2 is the request of submission of original passport to the nearest embassy..

My application was delivered on 22nd Oct against NOC 2173.

I have few queries :-

a) I have read on this channel, that applications would be capped for this NOC for 2173 by 17th Oct. Based on which information, it has been predicted?
b) Although as per the CIC's "complete application" link, only 425 applications has been received till 3rd Oct. Within approx how many days after receiving, does CIC counts the application in this link ?
c) CIC updates the 'complete application" link, every week right ? But it seems it was not updated last Friday (17th Oct)?
d) Above all, does my application stand a chance to be counted ?

Can someone help me with these queries please?

folks, i have been asked to submit updated IMM 5669 Schedule of background/ declaration form, along with PCC and PP.

can anyone post the link of the latest version?

thanks a lot !

know it might sound redundant and stupid, however, just wanted to be reconfirmed about the below issues of RPRF:

1. Bank draft can be either SGD or CAD, right?
2. Does Standard Chartered Bank in dhaka issue bank draft in Canadian Dollar?
3. for me and my spouse, there will be only bank draft for the total amount of CAD$ 980 ($490 for each).
4. for my dependant child aged 5, i dont need to pay anything
5. Shall i submit the bank draft to the VFS global, Dhaka? (in the letter, they mentioned "you must submit the fee directly to the High Commission of Canada in Singapore".

Thanks a lot for bearing with stupid clarifications.
regards,

It ll local currency if ur paying with dd otherwise it ll be CAD if you are paying by CC.

2. Does Standard Chartered Bank in dhaka issue bank draft in Canadian Dollar?
Allmost all bank issued dd in CAD but do not know about services by bank in your country.

3. for me and my spouse, there will be only bank draft for the total amount of CAD$ 980 ($490 for each).
Yes u have to pay 490 for each except child.

4. for my dependant child aged 5, i dont need to pay anything
No need to pay for child.

5. Shall i submit the bank draft to the VFS global, Dhaka? (in the letter, they mentioned "you must submit the fee directly to the High Commission of Canada in Singapore".
Yes you can handover to VFS but RPRF fee should be in favor of "The Receiver General for Canada" or The High Commission of Canada.

Hope this helps. All the very best.

Thanks a lot for bearing with stupid clarifications.

Are you a national of a visa exempt country? If so, they won't ask you for your actual passport as you wouldn't need a visa to go to Canada. They will just ask for a copy of your bio-data pages, I believe and then simply send your COPR to you.

a) I have read on this channel, that applications would be capped for this NOC for 2173 by 17th Oct. Based on which information, it has been predicted?
ANS: This information is totally a guess. It is based on the analysis carried out by seniors. They check which is the last date on which CIC has charhed DD or CC of an applicant. Obviously the applicant data is provided by applicants themselves voluntarily. So actually till date the number of applicants is 425 but this is the number of applications for which CIC has charged CC or DD, not the number applications received till date. So for example if the last applicant charged is of 4th June then it means CIC has processed applications till 4th June and from that date to till today, rest of the applications are a part of backlog.
b) Although as per the CIC's "complete application" link, only 425 applications has been received till 3rd Oct. Within approx how many days after receiving, does CIC counts the application in this link ?
ANS: This is totally first come first serve basis. If number of applications are less then you will be up in the line earlier.. So it depends..
c) CIC updates the 'complete application" link, every week right ? But it seems it was not updated last Friday (17th Oct)?
ANS: Sometimes they update the link fortnightly..
d) Above all, does my application stand a chance to be counted ?
ANS: If your applications is complete right now then you should take a chance. Not sending will definitely not stand a chance..

GOOD LUCK
