Hello Bhaumick, I am still waiting for passport request. Any update how much more waiting time. I want to be added in NDVO whatsapp group, please let me know the procedure.

NDVO has started issuing DMs and PPRs. I am sure in this week you will receive your PPR2. I know one more guy in our NDVO watsapp group who got DM along with me. Just hang in there, NDVO has a diwali bumper planned for all of us. Moreover the NDVO watsapp group is full with 50 members, but i will keep my eyes peeled if there is an opening and recommend you..

I was in canada from august 2011 to september 2013, under student visa and thereby work permit . Will i have to obtain PCC from canada for my fsw application? i am currently in india.

If cic feels , they will ask for it ( chances are very rare, cos they have your complete data)

I'm very glad to inform you that I got a message from Mexico VO today - first I thought it was a mistake, as I'm a Santo Domingo applicant, but this is the relevant bit:

"We are pleased to inform you that CIC has identified an opportunity to process your application more quickly. We are taking advantage of additional processing capacity at our office in Mexico City to complete the assessment of your application.

Your application is part of a small group of files that has been transferred to the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City. Your application was transferred to Mexico City on September 11, 2014"

I know of at least one 2014 applicant on the same boat, don't know about my fellow 2013 applicants yet.

I pray that others in this forum also benefit from similar measures by CIC!

Hi everyone, i am new to this forum, can some give me some advice on my situation please:

I applied for FSW 2013 on 03/09/2013 by mail and checked the postal tracking number and it was received by CIC couple of days later. i waited and i didnt get any mail or email or any kind of respond from CIC about my application, i regularly checked my bank transactions and they haven't deducted the application fee from my account.

1.Is my application rejected or i still have a chance?
2. Can i apply for FSW 2014 or i should wait for them to decide on my previous application?
3. Who should i call to check my previous application status?
4. What office i should contact and what is their email address?

1 year is surely a very long time to wait. You should either have got your PER OR the package should have been returned by now. Am not sure you can raise a case specific inquiry for your application since you have not even been assigned a UCI or File number which is used to identify your application. Did you apply on your own or through a consultant? Are you sure you are checking the right email address. Checked your spam folder?? The least you can do is to double check all the contract information you have provided to be sure. Hope you have kept a copy of the package that you sent to CIC.

I applied on my own, im sure about my email address however i seldom check my spams, all my contact details are correct and up to date, im thinking of sending an email or call the visa office in Sydney Australia where i live, maybe they will give me some feedback, thanks for your suggestion
