The expiry of visa is exactly one year from the date of medicals. So you can enter either before expiry of your visa or expiry of your passport or whichever expires earlier. Now for example if they take 4 months after medicals to issue the visa then you will get 8 months span in which you must land.

I hope it helped.

Hi ,

I am fsw14 applicant and I have received PCC request from NDVO. I am staying in an address which is different from the address on the passport .

I enquired and got to know that PCC from PSK(Passport seva kendra) takes more than 2 months, other alternative is get PCC from police commisioner which again can take time close to 2 months.

Can I go to my hometown from where I got my passport and apply for PCC? Is it valid ??

One more question, how much time it takes after medical received?

open ended question, i have answered the same on this forum thread multiple times

here it is again

each case is different
upon medial pass - vo initiated foss/scc checks and sometimes b.grund checks may still be in process

all this corresponds to how much of a travel history u have etcc etc

give it about 6 months - maximum again this is maximum

if all is easy and clear - then 90 days .. however dont forget the current inventory and the way its trailing

good luck

Hi

Since many of you have the experience of having gone through this process, please consider my query:
When would be the best time to start ordering GCMS notes? At what stage(s) in the process after PER? Also, any idea of how many times to do so?

Hello Friends , Seniors ....

Thanks to everybody for sharing the information and providing the valuable information. Great Team work.

I need your advice if you have help:

Application Rvd: May 16th @ 1PM
CC charged: 26th Aug
NOC: 2174

Next Update .....? I have seen other friends already got responses.

I would like to know whats does this mean...need to wait for few more days / weeks ??

How the process works ? will the next thing be PER / Rejection Email Or could be other possibilities.

thanks for your responses.

ORDER GCMS AFTER 3-4 MONTHS POST PER OR IDEALLY AFTER A MONTH AFTER MEDICAL LINE OR AFTER MEDICAL TEST - ...
IDEALLY ORDER THEM ONCE THROUGH THE CASE AND AT THE LAST STAGE WHEN PSPT RQST IS DELAYED - THIS TRIGGERS A BF' DATE..

GOOD LUCK

Buddy if your CC is charged then most probably you are in! You will hear within three weeks to one month from CIC.. You will be given a UCI number and a file number with the help of which you will be able to see the status of your application online.. Overall process from your date of application till visa issue can take 6 months to 18 months depending upon your circumstances and luck..

Good Luck
