Hi Forummates,

I was just thinking, since I got the PER (8th May 14 applicant, PER 14 August) and waiting for my medical and PCC requests from NDVO.

Is it a good idea to apply and get the PCC ready in hand to make things faster???

I need to get 2 PCC's. India and UK (lived in Scotland and England both)

For India, If I am right I can get the PCC from PSK (Passport Seva Kendra) by paying 500 Rs, isnt it true??

For UK, I need to apply ACPO Criminal Record Office UK. Isnt it true?

I was going through the guide lines and realised that I need to pay
£45 for Standard service &
£ 9 for Secure international delivery ( As I want PCC to reach me in India)
So total = £54

Hi everyone,

I am an FSW 2014 applicant but I would like to ask this forum about changing marital status after getting PER.

If I get married after getting PER and my application is IN PROCESS on eCAS,
1. What documents will I need to acquire so I can add my wife/spouse to my pending application?
2. When do I need to notify the VO of my marriage and send them updated documents?
3. Do I need to update my current documents such that it will show my marital status to MARRIED?

Are there FSWP 2013 applicants with this case and has received Canadian VISA then eventually landing in Canada?
Please share your relevant experience to this case.

I have applied for UK PCC and i can put some light on this.
If you have any friends/relatives in UK then provide their address in Postal Address(es) for the return
of your Police Certificate(s) if different to your current address: section and ask them to deliver at your Indian address. It is fastest and cheapest way to get PCC from UK . Or you can opt for Courier – International Delivery ONLY £48.00 option. You have to pay £48.00 only.

No Gurudwara marriage certificate is not valid for immigration purpose.

Dear All,

I would appreciate forum's help (based in personal experience) in following situation.
Application was submitted in Oct. 2013 (sent by express mail service and arrival notified by SMS).
Since then , neither credit card was charged nor refusing letter received (including application package).

Has anybody been in situation alike ?
What can it mean (for your opinion) ?
