Hi friends and experts,
I have some doubts regarding issue of AOR and process starting at NDVO. CIO is considering initial applications on a first-come, first-served basis. Is this rule same in the case of NDVO ? or based on NOC ?

Some people applied after May 5th 2014 already got (NOC 2171,2173, 2174) AOR ,MR and started their processing as per Spread sheet.

Please share valuable experience.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys,

I did the landing on August 30th at Coutts boarder crossing between Alberta and Montana. The Officers on both sides were extremely nice, it took me 20 minutes in the U.S side and 30 minutes on the Canada side. The CIC officer was very respectful and cooperative, he explained the next steps and asked me if I have questions .. I asked several and he was answering with smiles ...

Very important thing to know, even thought that I have had a U.S visa, the officer gave me a refusal letter and said it is better to go back to Canada, finish the landing paperwork and turn again to go to U.S

Overall, it was an excellent experience. Thank you all, and wish all of you a happy ending.

Regards,

Thank you albaik. I am curious if you were required to provide a Canadian Address for the PR card when you landed. If no, then what did you do? Also please explain the issue with the refusal letter? Was this given to you by the Canadian officer or the US one?
Thanks again,
O. O.
